With the development of the Internet and the innovation of multimedia technology,learners' independent learning by browsing instructional videos has become an important way of learning today.In the study of teaching videos,many scholars have explored the factors that affect the learning effect of teaching videos from the perspective of technology and design,but few studies have explored the impact of teaching videos on the learning effects of students' autonomous learning from the perspective of generative learning strategies.The self-drawing strategy and text summary strategy in generative learning strategies are relatively easier to apply to video learning,but the existing research conclusions for the two strategies are not consistent,and how it affects learning is still unclear.In addition,there are few studies on the application methods and effects of self-drawing strategies and text summarizing strategies that are directly targeted at video teaching in the two main subjects of middle school Chinese and mathematics.In view of this,with the support of drawing software provided to learners,this article explores the effects of self-drawing strategies and summary strategies on the learning effects,cognitive load,and learning satisfaction of two major subjects(Chinese and mathematics)video learning,and The questionnaires and interviews were used to collect participants' preferences and opinions on instructional video design.The experimental conclusions are as follows:(1)for Chinese subjects,students in the first year of senior high school can learn better by using self-drawing strategy than by writing summary strategy;The cognitive load generated is less than the text summary strategy;Learning satisfaction is higher than the text summary strategy.(2)for mathematics subjects,the cognitive load generated by the use of text summary strategy is high for students in the senior grade.Although learners prefer to use self-drawing strategy,the learning effect is not as good as that of text summary strategy.(3)Video learning has not received much attention in middle schools.However,through the study of this teaching video,students show great interest in the learning mode of teaching video.96% of students like to learn in this way,and believe that learning through video can help them master knowledge.In addition,middle school students think the most suitable video is about 6 minutes long,the content of the video involves 2-3 small knowledge points,and they like the presentation of animation most.The above experimental conclusions can provide constructive suggestions for the design of instructional video.Combined with the characteristics of the subject and the boundary conditions of the generative learning strategy,the generative learning strategy can be flexibly applied to the subject instructional video learning,thereby improving the learning effect of the learner and reducing the cognition.Load and increase learning satisfaction.According to the experimentalresearch conclusions,the following application strategies are proposed: First,when designing Chinese teaching videos,we should work hard to create learning situations in conjunction with the learning content.Learners use self-drawing strategies to learn,construct the content in the video into pictures,and realize knowledge.Visualization and externalization,thereby promoting deep processing of Chinese knowledge.Second,focus on adding clues when designing instructional videos for mathematical subjects.Text summary strategy In the process of mathematics learning,the content of the mathematical video is summarized in text,and the text summary is used to organize it into a coherent structure,and it is reorganized with the original knowledge to incorporate new knowledge into the original knowledge.System.Adding clues to math videos(such as adding hints to important knowledge,etc.)can help learners choose the most relevant information,and combine new information with existing structures to obtain knowledge through text summaries.
