A new round of curriculum reform is coming,and "core competence" has become a hot word in education reform.The "Biology Curriculum Standards for Senior High Schools(2017Edition)" formulated by the Ministry of Education points out that the core competence in Biology has four elements: perception of life,scientific thinking,scientific Inquiry and social responsibility.The concept of structure and function is a concrete concept in the perception of life.The concept of structure and function contains two meanings: one is that a certain structure necessarily corresponds to a certain function,the other is that any function needs a certain structure to reflect.The infiltration of this concept in teaching will help students better understand the internal relationship of organism's life activities.The class is the main position to implement the core competence.This topic adopts the problem driven teaching mode to achieve the cultivation of "structure and function view" This model is a student-centered,teacher-centered and problem-centered teaching model.Its process is: raising questions,analyzing problems,solving problems and summarizing and evaluating four links.Its evaluation method is the combination of paper-pencil test and formative evaluation.The core of this teaching mode lies in the setting of high-quality problem situations,in which students think deeply,so as to achieve the goal of learning knowledge,forming ability and developing literacy.The research of this topic is not only the need of curriculum reform,but also the need of front-line teaching.In the process of teaching practice,the author systematically combs the chapters of Molecule and Cell module of the People's Education Edition reflecting the "structure and function view" according to the curriculum standards,mainly focusing on the first three chapters.After defining the teaching scope,the teaching design is carried out,and the experimental class(using the problem-driven teaching model)and the control class(having problems,but not using the problem-driven teaching model)are used to carry out the teaching practice research,and the classroom implementation and after-class feedback evaluation are carried out.From the feedback of teacher-student interviews,formative evaluation and analysis of pencil-and-paper test data,we can see that the problem-driven teaching model helps to achieve the cultivation of students' view of structure and function.To sum up,the research of this subject follows the pace of curriculum reform,and to some extent,it can provide some thoughts and ideas for front-line teaching.In view of the limited research time and the limited research content of this topic,I only studied the new teaching of "structure and function view" in the first three chapters of Molecule and Cell.Of course,I should continue to study the review class,commentary class and other contents of core competence.
