The principal is the soul of a school.To evaluate a school,first evaluate the principal.In school management,the principal is an irreplaceable figure and an important role in promoting the development of the school.The principal's leadership behavior and leadership are still one of the important factors determining the development of the school.As the principal of school development,the principal of a school principal determines its development status.This research first summarizes the current research status of domestic and foreign principals teaching leadership,and defines related concepts.On this basis,five dimensions for analyzing the teaching leadership behavior of rural primary school principals are determined: idea and goal guidance,curriculum teaching Management,creation of teaching environment,promotion of teachers 'growth,and promotion of students' academic progress.From the perspective of teachers,some principals of rural primary schools in L Autonomous Prefecture and Z City of Gansu Province were selected as the research objects.The method of combining quantitative and qualitative methods was used to analyze the data and sort out the interview data.Taking the exploration of rural primary school principals 'teaching leadership behavior as a starting point,by analyzing the teachers' basic evaluation of rural primary school principals 'teaching leadership behaviors,I have a certain understanding of the current situation of investigating regional principals' teaching leadership behaviors.Through the research,it is found that the overall performance of the teaching leadership behavior of the rural elementary school principals in the survey area is general,and there are large internal differences.In terms of the overall difference in the principal teaching leadership behavior,there are certain schools in different regions,different school types and different teaching quality difference.Further analysis of the specific performance of the principal's teaching leadership behavior in the eyes of teachers found that rural primary school principals' teaching leadership behavior is highly recognized in terms of concept and goal guidance,curriculum and teaching management,and promotion of teacher growth.Degree is low.On this basis,it is found that there are several problems inthe teaching leadership behavior of the rural primary school principals in the survey area: first,the rural primary school principals lack communication with teachers;second,the rural primary school principals push the door less frequently;third,the rural primary school principals work More;the fourth is the lack of incentives from rural primary school principals for teachers;the fifth is that rural primary school principals communicate less with parents of students.After analysing the problems in the teaching leadership behavior of rural primary school principals,we then propose suggestions for improving the teaching leadership behavior of rural primary school principals from the following aspects:strengthen communication with teachers in the guidance of ideas and goals;We must pay attention to listening and evaluating courses;we must reduce transactional work in the creation of teaching environments;we must strengthen the incentives for teachers in promoting teacher growth;and we must strengthen communication and exchanges with students 'parents in promoting student progress.
