Research On The Healthy Development Of The Network Crowd-funding For Serious Diseases From The Perspective Of Social Capital

In recent years,with the continuous development and progress of the Internet industry,the concept of "network crowd-funding for serious diseases " has gradually come into people's view.The majority of patients with financial difficulties have been helped by the emerging platforms for network crowd-funding for serious disease,but some patients have not received enough money,and what's worse,some have even used the platform to open up new ways of making money,using false information to defraud netizens of charitable funds,or using charity funds to do other things and so on.In such a situation,how to solve the obstacles of the healthy development of the network crowd-funding for serious diseases is the key issue which needs to be explored currently.However,the social capital theory which emerged in the 1990 s provides a new perspective of the healthy development of the network crowd-funding for serious diseases.From the perspective of social capital,this study analyzes some typical successful and unsuccessful cases in the current network crowd-funding for serious diseases,and probes into the relevant suggestions for the platform of network crowd-funding for serious diseases.Guided by the social capital theory,this study adopts the method of typical case analysis.Firstly,through the case analysis of the success of L University Y alumna in the network crowd-funding for serious diseases,it is found that the main factors of its success are as follows: rich relationship network,good social trust and extensive interactive participation.Secondly,through the case analysis of the failures of H village L and “Luo Yixiao event”,the main factors of its failure are narrow relationship network,insufficient interactive participation and lack of social trust.Finally,based on the above analysis and combined with the national policy,the researcher gives some suggestions of network crowd-funding for serious diseases by using the social capital theory,including establishing rich social relationship network,enhancing the credibility influence of the platform,making effective and active participation measures,and constructing a transparent network financing platform for serious illness.
