| Chemistry is a basic discipline that is not only closely related to our daily life,economic development,and social civilization,but also the basis of modern science and technology such as materials science,environmental science,and energy science.How to link chemical knowledge with science,technology,society and life in education and teaching practice is a topic that educators have been seeking.The standard of general senior high school chemistry curriculum(2017 edition)puts forward "taking the concept of major disciplines as the core,structuring the content of the curriculum,taking the theme as the guide,making the content of the curriculum contextual,and promoting the implementation of core literacy",highlighting the importance of education researchers on the importance and recognition of situational teaching.The practice and application of situational teaching are again valued by educators.Therefore,under the guidance of the new curriculum standard,high school chemistry will also usher in a new round of reform.In terms of teaching objectives and teaching methods,more attention will be paid to the cultivation of students' ability to apply knowledge.The creation of various situations will enable students to truly explore knowledge actively and cultivate their awareness of self-study.It is helpful for the cultivation of students' ability to explore spirit and combine theory with practice,so as to better meet the requirements of the society for new talents.In this study,733 students and 63 front-line teachers from four public high schools in Y City were investigated and interviewed by means of literature research,questionnaire survey and interview.Combined with observation method,the survey data were analyzed from qualitative and quantitative aspects.At present,most teachers understand and pay attention to situational teaching.92.1% of teachers think it is necessary to teach relevant knowledge in combination with situational teaching,but 85.5% of teachers create situational teaching in the introduction process;30.2% of teachers do not pay much attention to the situational materials provided in the curriculum standard.In classroom teaching,middle school students wish teacher to use different situational materials for teaching,such as demonstration experiments,life examples,video pictures and other forms,accounting for 56%-58%.The results show that: Although the theory and practice of situational teaching have made great achievements in high school chemistry classroom teaching,most teachers will apply situational teaching methods in classroom teaching,basically have the awareness of situational creation,and relatively recognize the methods of situational teaching.Students generally like situations close to life and with participation.However,due to the influence of traditional teaching ideas,examination,selection mode and other factors,there are still some problems in the process of situational material selection and situational creation in the implementation of situational teaching.Teachers have certain deficiencies in the understanding of chemical situational teaching;the selection of situational material is not rigorous enough;the creation of situational is not systematic enough;the creation of situational mainly focuses on arousing students' interest;The way of presentation is relatively simple.In view of the problems existing in the current high school chemistry situational teaching,teachers should pay attention to the situational materials closely following the times in the aspect of situational materials collection.On the basis of fully understanding students,collect situational materials that can arouse students' interest in learning chemistry.Combining the trend of college entrance examination,mining the situation in the test questions.In the aspect of creating teaching situation,it is necessary to combine the actual situation to help the students to understand the situation;pay attention to the students all the time,observe students closely,and be patient with them.In the process of education and teaching,teachers should make full use of the advantages of situational teaching to cultivate students' interest in learning chemistry,improve students' ability of knowledge transfer and application,and then promote the formation of students' core quality of chemistry. |
