Language application is known as the basic activity of Chinese learning and the necessary process to improve the core literacy of Chinese language.This paper selected language application from National ?,Zhejiang and Jiangsu volume in the past five years as research object.First,it compared the types of questions in the three examination papers,including the quantity,value and type of questions.?t is found that the quantity of questions and scores have relatively stable patterns and the structure of questions are well developed,whereas there is a great potential for the exploration of question types to add comprehensive and open questions to a proper extent.This paper also investigated the corpus of the three examination papers from perspectives of relevance,authenticity and ideology.?t also studied the situation of the three examination papers from perspectives of type,integration,times and openness.?t is found that the three examination papers have good development in both corpus selection and situation setting,while ideology of corpus and integration of situation can be further reinforced.Finally,this paper compared the ability level and test points of test objectives of the three examination papers.?t is found that the three examination papers are limited in forms of questions,which leads to the decline of ability level of questions.When designing questions,it is necessary to consider integrating multiple ability levels into the forms of questions.The three examinations have similar test points in questions,which focus on the linguistic expression ability of students.This paper analyzed the three examination papers to compare and summarize their respective advantages and disadvantages,in order to put forward some suggestions for the optimization of the question design of national college entrance examination as well as the language and literature teaching in high schools.However,the paper has shortcomings,which demonstrate that the further research can select more representative samples for comparison,and add perspectives for comparative analysis,for example,it may conduct more comprehensive research from perspectives of reference answers and scoring criteria to draw new conclusions.
