A Study On Early Parenting Behavior Of Single Parent Family And Its Problems

The family is the basic environment for the healthy growth of children,scientific and reasonable parenting behavior is a necessary condition for children's healthy growth.In recent years,due to the increasing divorce rate,the original family structure has been destroyed,and the function of family parenting has also been restricted to some extent,which has brought some negative effects on the healthy growth of children.Some studies show that compared with the whole family,children in single parent family have many problems in personality development,emotion,academic performance,gender role and so on.Among the important factors that affect children's development,early family parenting plays a decisive role,which is mainly reflected in the early parenting behavior of the family.The early parenting behavior of single-parent families is directly related to the healthy growth of single-parent children,and also lays a foundation for the comprehensive development of single parent children.In this study,a questionnaire survey was conducted on the status of parenting behaviors among 102 single-parent of nine public kindergartens in Dalian,Liaoning Province,and also interviewed nine parent-child caregivers.Through questionnaires and interviews,it was found that single parent families have the following four problems in early parenting behavior : The investment in early parenting of single-parent families is insufficient;the concept of early parenting in single-parent families is backward;the method of early parenting in single-parent families is improper;and the social public opinion of single-parent families is under great pressure.n view of the above problems,combined with the relevant interview information,the causes of the problems are as follows:Rupture of complete parenting function in single parent families;lack of early parenting knowledge in single parentfamilies;misplacement of early parenting motivation in single parent families;external perceptions of subjective biases in single parent families.Finally,in view of the above problems,combined with the analysis of the relevant causes,this study puts forward the following countermeasures and suggestions:The first is to clarify self-parenting responsibilities and ensure complete parenting functions;the second is to pay attention to scientific parenting concepts and strengthen self-parenting knowledge;the third is to master reasonable parenting methods and establish correct parenting motivation;the fourth is to provide a good parenting environment and effectively achieve interaction parenting.With a view to improving the early parenting behavior of single-parent families,and ultimately promoting the comprehensive and healthy development of children in single-parent families.
