The teaching of plane geometry in the junior high school helps cultivate the observation ability and logical thinking ability of students.Teaching evaluation is an extremely important link in the teaching process,so how to accurately and timely evaluate the level of plane geometry thinking of junior high school students is particularly important.As a very important teaching evaluation theory,SOLO classification evaluation theory is seldom applied to the specific evaluation of students' geometric thinking level.Guided by SOLO theory,this paper attempts to investigate the evaluation of plane geometry thinking level of junior high school students.First,the evaluation index of SOLO evaluation theory is developed by studying the literature,and the evaluation standard is explained by the analysis results of plane geometry problems of grade 8.Next,three middle schools of different levels are selected in a city,and each school randomly selects a class for the test,and the test results are analyzed by using evaluation indexes.After the test,students are divided into different grades according to their scores,and each grade is randomly selected for interviews to specifically analyze the characteristics of students' thinking levels at different levels,so as to help teachers accurately grasp the process of students' thinking activities,and then put forward effective suggestions for the teaching activities of plane geometry in the junior high school.The research shows that the following conclusion can be drawn from this study: SOLO theory can provide reference for the evaluation of plane geometry thinking level of junior high school students.From the results of investigation and research,it can be concluded that the thinking level of excellent students mainly focuses on the correlation structure,and the expansion of thinking ability of solving complex problems should be paid attention to in teaching.The distribution of intermediate students' thinking level is more uniform,the abstract expansion and the pre-structure is less,and other layers are more evenly distributed.The thinking level of the underachiever is mainly focused on the pre-structure.
