Since the 17th century,plane analysis geometry is one of the important achievements in the development of mathematics.Therefore,opening this course in high schools can help enhance students' cultural level,scientific literacy,innovative spirit,and cultural value.By using SOLO classification theory,this paper studies the current state of understanding of the plane analysis geometry of arts students,and mainly solves the following problems:(1)At what level do the high school students of liberal art reach in terms of the understanding of plane analysis geometry?(2)How do high school students of liberal art differ in the understanding of plane analysis geometry when compared by different genders,schools and grades.(3)What are the main obstacles for students in learning plane analysis geometry?(4)Does non-intellectual factors have an impact on students' understanding of plane analysis geometry?Based on SOLO theory,this paper studies the understanding level of plane analysis geometry of 490 students in high schools with different teaching levels in Zhangjiakou City,Hebei Province.In the research,four sets of different levels of plane analysis geometry have been compiled.After analyzing the data with Excel and SPSS software,it is found that the overall understanding of plane analysis geometry has reached R level,and there are no obvious gender differences in the understanding of plane analysis geometry,but there are obvious school differences and grade differences.At the same time,through the preparation of questionnaires,the paper also studied the influence of non-intellectual factors on the study of graphic analysis geometry learning of arts students from four aspects: interest in mathematics learning,will to learn mathematics,the external driving force of mathematics learning and belief in mathematics learning.After analysis,it is found that students with high level of geometric understanding of plane analysis have strong interest in mathematics learning,strong belief in mathematics learning,will and internal driving force;on the contrary,all aspects are lower.Finally,the paper puts forward some suggestions and coping strategies from the three aspects of "teaching","student will" and "student emotion" respectively,in order:(1)practice multi-angle,multi-intersectional,multi-directional teaching to help students firmly grasp the basic knowledge;(2)improve and optimize teaching methods to improve students' understanding ability;(3)integrate the fine quality of mathematicians into teaching;(4)cultivate students' optimistic and positive moods;(5)guide students to carry out positive and correct attribution of errors;(6)timely affirm the progress and efforts of students,so that students have a sense of achievement.The innovation point of this paper is to compile a plane analysis geometry test volume based on SOLO level and a questionnaire related to student achievement(the questionnaire has passed the letter and algebra test)to study the understanding level and influence factors of the plane analysis geometry of arts students.
