At present,assessment of children's development with multiple subjects has become an assessment trend.In kindergartens,teachers seldom plan to systematically guide children to participate in self-development assessment,and children as passive assessment objects are separated from development assessment.Participation in self-development assessment practices the concept of assessment of children's development with multiple subjects,which not only respects children's subject status,guarantees children's rights of participation and development,but also enriches the information collection sources of assessment of children's development,and lays a foundation for children's better development.This study adopts the method of action research,selects a top class of a kindergarten in Shanghai Jing'an District as the research object,and carries out five rounds action researches through the steps of “plan-implementation-reflection and adjustment-replan”,referring to the "Observation Guide of Children's Development Behaviors" in the "Quality Assessment Guide of Shanghai Kindergartens(Trial Draft)".We should reflect ourselves and summarize the experience,find out the existing problems,sort out and conclude them,optimize the implementation strategy after every action,and improve the practice process of top class children participated self-development assessment.Finally,based on the results of five rounds action researches,we can get the research conclusions and research enlightenment.The conclusion shows that: it is feasible and valuable for top class children to participate in their self-development assessment.At the same time,teachers are supposed to build a proper idea for the participation in self-development assessment and conclude the implementing strategies for the assessment,which includes the strategies for the participation of the children in top class in the assessment of their own self-development at the earlier stage,the strategies of analyzing and interpreting the indicating contents of their self-development assessment,the strategies of selecting the methods of their self-development assessment,the strategies of teachers' guidance in their self-development assessment,the strategies of saving and analyzingdevelopment assessment information,the strategies of top class children's participation in feedback of their self-development assessment results,the strategies of top class home-kindergarten cooperation in children's participation in their self-development assessment.On the basis of the research conclusions,the paper puts forward with some corresponding suggestions for participation in self-development assessment of top class children.Firstly,the kindergarten should attach great importance to the top class children to participate in their self-development assessment,arrange some relevant collective teaching and research activities to offer theoretical and technical support.Secondly,the teachers are required to improve their capacity in analyzing and interpreting the indicating contents of their self-development assessment,improve their professional ability of participation in self-development assessment practices.
