Since the reform and opening up,a large number of migrant workers into the city,China's urban construction has become the main force,but also gave birth to the floating population children access to education problems.In the context of the social history and culture of China's comprehensive deepening of educational reform,this paper makes a thorough understanding of the current situation of the education of the children of the floating population,and makes an analysis of the problems faced by the parents of the floating areas in their children's choice of schools for the first time at a junior high school,to explore the countermeasures and suggestions to solve these problems is of great significance to the education of the children of floating population in other areas.Starting from 2017,the researchers selected the parents of Class S in D primary school as the subjects of investigation.On the basis of collecting,sorting out and analyzing the research results at home and abroad,through individual cases,interviews and other ways of migrant children's education to make a comprehensive and in-depth understanding of the basic situation.As a member of junior high school,they have deep feelings about school choice,and their school choice behavior has certain representativeness.Through interviews with these parents,this paper analyzes the external motivation and internal drive of parents'school choice behavior,their expectation for their children's education,and their preparation for junior middle school,including the participation art training,the participation Austria Language Olympiad Tutorship and so on.On this basis,it describes the real school choice situation in the process of the junior high school,and combines the social capital theory in the sociology of education to connect the parents'educational expectation to their children,the real school choice situation and the deep social structure,this paper analyzes the concrete operation of economic capital,Cultural Capital and social capital in school selection.At the same time,this paper also puts forward some measures to solve the problem of choosing schools and to realize the equal opportunity of entering schools.The governments of the inflow places must make clear the relevant roles and responsibilities of the governments,and do well the service work for the floating population,to give more attention to the education of the children of the floating population;to cooperate with schools and families to carry out child discipline for the children of the floating population;to help parents raise their awareness of educational problems,to take the initiative to participate in school education,and to promote the realization of educational equity through various channels.
