On the development of individuals, family education is not only a basic education for theirpersonalities, life skills and the taste of life, but also a lifelong education of the life process,which has educational value and social significance. The rural family education is an importantpart in family education even the whole education system. In view of the fact that China’s ruralpopulation still accounts for50.32%of the national population, the rural family educationbecomes more and more important. However, in the social transformation of this great historicalchange, China’s rural family education has mixed changes, appearing many new problems thatcan not be ignored, which urgently needs to be serious consideration and theoretical study.According to the exploration of actual situation in the rural family education in Lunanregion, this paper attempts to tease the true ecological of rural family education, reveals theproblems and the causes, finds feasible countermeasures and suggestions. In the researchmethods, this paper designs corresponding questionnaire mainly from the current rural familiesof family education’s education idea, education behavior, education evaluation, supplemented bythe family interviews to clarify and rich the content. Through the research, we found that themain problems in the family education in rural areas: the consciousness of the family educationconcept is incorrect, such as the children’s early education is neglected, family tendency ofutilitarian education, stress intellectual education, the education of their children’s time andenergy inputs inadequate; the family education’s contents and methods are simple and crude,such as heavy books knowledge while light practice, lack of "agriculture" education, life issimple and vulgar in leisure time; effect of the serious lack of responsibility of family educationand the imbalance of the mass media to rural family education etc.The reasons for these problems are various, mainly including: social change causing theeducation anomie; the restriction of the rural areas with weak traditional culture; the ruraleducation has its own problems; the separation between family education and rural schooleducation, social education in rural areas; the subject of rural family education’s quality is low.Based on the investigation and analysis, we try to put forward suggestions to solve theproblems, mainly including: guided by the government, vigorously develop the rural economy,perfect the legislation of family education; strengthen the social service function, establishcooperative mechanism of family education, school education and social education; schoolshould smooth way of home-school cooperation on the basis of improving the quality ofeducation; actively promote the construction of rural community, give full play to thecomprehensive function of education in rural community; family must create a relaxed pleasantfamily atmosphere based on improving the parent-child education mode.
