In recent years,metacognitive psychology has been paid much attention to,and how to apply metacognitive theory to teaching has become one of the main research problems in the field of education.This paper studies the application of metacognitive theory teaching model by means of literature,investigation and experiment.After 12 weeks of teaching experiments,choose the same teachers,teaching content,teaching progress during hold public physical education class teaching,the experimental classes and that in comparative classes two groups of movement technology,innovation and self-learning ability,metacognitive ability,learning motivation,test metacognitive theory teaching and the teaching effect of differences between traditional sports teaching.Through the experimental research on the teaching model of metacognitive theory,the following conclusions are drawn: 1.Metacognitive intervention can effectively improve students' learning enthusiasm and significantly improve their self-study ability.2.Students' metacognitive ability level has been significantly improved.Students are interested in the teaching mode of metacognitive theory in physical education,and they have strong initiative and enthusiasm in learning.Moreover,most of the students can well complete the study tasks assigned by the teacher,which improves the students' learning purpose,goal awareness and planning.3.The part of metacognitive theory in improving students' innovation ability needs to be improved.In other words,short-term intervention cannot have certain obvious effect on the experimental group.4.The cultivation and guidance of learning motivation plays an important role in the process of metacognitive learning.Learning motivation has important guiding significance for students to conduct independent learning and determine learning objectives.
