In recent years,scaffolding teaching theory has attracted the attention and attention of educational theory and practice circles.While advocating that teachers should be the "guide" of learning process,highlighting the status of "master" of students' learning,scaffolding teaching theory advocates that high-level teachers should provide certain forms of learning support for students with learning difficulties,so as to help them successfully cross the recent development The exhibition area will eventually improve the level of learning ability.However,according to the actual investigation of the current situation of high school novel teaching,many teachers still follow the traditional teaching method in novel teaching,which leads to the students' enthusiasm and initiative in novel learning seriously frustrated,and the effect of novel learning is not satisfactory.Therefore,to improve the traditional novel teaching method and improve the quality and efficiency of senior high school novel teaching has become an important issue for the front-line Chinese teachers to think deeply and explore.Based on this,this paper studies the application of Scaffolding Teaching Theory in senior high school novel teaching with the support of Scaffolding Teaching Theory,hoping to improve the current situation of senior high school novel teaching through the reasonable setting of scaffolding in novel teaching,and improve the initiative,polarity and reading ability of students' novel learning.The paper is divided into five parts: the introduction part mainly introduces the origin,purpose,significance and design of the research,and expounds the related concepts and theoretical basis of the topic on the basis of literature review.The second chapter discusses the problems in the current high school novel teaching on the basis of the questionnaire and interview survey results.On the part of students,it mainly shows that the purpose of novel learning is utilitarian;the reading ability is poor;the learning is lack of enthusiasm and initiative;on the part of teachers,it focuses on knowledge explanation,neglects ability training;and the teaching method is procedural.The third chapter analyzes the correspondence between Scaffolding Teaching Theory and senior high school novel teachingfrom the theoretical perspective,and studies the correspondence between Scaffolding Teaching Theory and senior high school novel teaching from three points: the requirements of curriculum,the characteristics of senior high school novel teaching and the realistic needs of senior high school novel textbook selection,so as to provide basis for the application of Scaffolding Teaching Theory in novel teaching.The fourth chapter focuses on the types,principles and implementation steps of Scaffolding Teaching Theory in senior high school novel teaching,providing reference for the specific operation of Scaffolding Teaching Theory in novel teaching.The fifth chapter is based on the three novels in the first unit of the Chinese compulsory five textbook for senior high school,designed the scaffolding novel teaching scheme,and applied the teaching scheme to the actual teaching to verify the effect of the Scaffolding Teaching Theory on improving the current situation of novel teaching and improving the students' initiative,enthusiasm and reading ability.Through the analysis of students' homework,observation table of students' classroom performance and interview records,the research proves that the scaffolding teaching theory is effective in the practice of senior high school novel teaching.The scaffolding teaching theory conforms to students' psychological characteristics,mobilizes students' participation in the novel teaching classroom,stimulates students' enthusiasm and initiative in class participation,and also raises Improve the reading ability of students' novels.The sixth chapter,based on the summary and thinking of the teaching practice of scaffolding novel,puts forward the corresponding suggestions and Countermeasures for the application of Scaffolding Teaching Theory in senior high school novel teaching.
