The new curriculum reform points out that teaching is not one-way knowledge instilling and imparting,but active knowledge construction.Scaffolding Teaching is a branch of constructivism theory.It emphasizes that teaching is a process in which teachers guide students to actively construct knowledge,including five links: scaffolding,creating situations,independent exploration,collaborative learning and effect evaluation.In this process,teachers should be the guide and collaborator of students' knowledge construction.This research mainly uses the method of questionnaire to investigate the current situation of mathematics geometry concept teaching in two municipal public primary schools and two township public primary schools in Z City,so as to obtain the data about teachers' geometry concept teaching.Then through the paper and pencil test,the second stage students' geometry concept learning level in four primary schools is tested,so as to obtain the table of students' geometry concept learning field.We use the interview method to understand the teaching situation of mathematical geometry concept in the second stage of primary school from multiple perspectives,and at the same time,we use classroom observation to obtain more comprehensive information.The results show that: in the aspect of students' learning,there are some common problems,such as lack of solid grasp of geometric concept characteristics,confusion of subordination between geometric concepts,ambiguity of essential attributes of similar concepts,and lack of ability to construct geometric concept system.Common problems in teachers' teaching,in the process of building scaffolding,teachers neglect the discovery of the zone of proximal development and the stimulation of students' cognitive drive.In the process of creating situations,teachers neglect the creation of real situations and the diversification of intuitive teaching aids.In the process of independent exploration,teachers neglect the time control and method guidance of students' independent exploration and the real experience of students' hands-on operation.In the process of collaborative learning,teachers neglect the group cooperative learning methods the activities of guidance and group cooperation are only in the form.In the process of effect evaluation,the main body of teaching evaluation is single,and the result is too important to the process.Based on the theory of scaffolding teaching,this paper puts forward the teaching suggestions of mathematical geometry concept in primary school according to the puzzles of students' learning and the problems of teachers' teaching.In the aspect of scaffolding construction,we should understand the learning situation,determine the latest development area,build the scaffolding,and guide students to cross the latest development area.In the aspect of creating the situation,we should create the problem situation,and improve the students' exploration.In the independent exploration link,timely guide,inspire students to think in many ways,guide students to operate,experience the formation process of geometric concept.In the aspect of cooperative learning,we should strengthen the method guidance of group cooperative learning,carry out group cooperative communication,and fully tap the essence of geometric concept.In the aspect of effect evaluation,we should evaluate the effect of geometric concept,and the contents of evaluation are diversified,which can improve students' self-awareness,evaluation contents and evaluation efficiency.
