The application of scaffolding teaching mode in junior middle school mathematics geometry teaching focuses on the existing level and potential development level of students.The use of different types of teaching scaffolding can integrate and classify the geometry teaching content more carefully,and provide strong support for students to successfully cross the“proximal-zone development theory”.At the same time,geometry,as an important part of mathematics in junior middle school,can effectively cultivate students ' thinking ability and deepen students ' cognition of mathematics learning.However,geometry learning is a process from intuitive to abstract.Due to the level of mathematics thinking of junior middle school students,teachers should not take too much steps in geometry teaching.Therefore,the study of geometry teaching in junior middle school under the scaffolding teaching mode has important theoretical and practical value for promoting the improvement and development of mathematics teaching in junior middle school.The main content of this paper is composed of research background,literature review,questionnaire survey,teaching experiment,teaching suggestions and research conclusions.In the specific process of the study,literature research,questionnaire survey and experimental research are used as the main research methods.Through literature review,the data collection and collation of scaffolding teaching mode and junior high school geometry teaching lay a theoretical foundation for the development of research and writing of the article;in the process of questionnaire survey,taking the students of a middle school in Hefei as the research object,230 questionnaires are distributed to understand the current situation of students ' geometry learning and teachers ' scaffolding teaching,so as to excavate the shortcomings of teachers in scaffolding teaching.In the teaching experiment,the data of the control class and the experimental class are analyzed by taking two classes of Grade Two as the experimental samples,so as to test the application effect of scaffolding teaching mode in geometry teaching and provide data support for subsequent teaching strategies.The study found that(1)the scaffolding instruction of geometry not only improves students ' learning efficiency of geometry,but also makes geometry learning more meaningful,which meets the teaching needs under the current“ double reduction ” policy and can play an optimized role in mathematics classroom.(2)Most of the teachers ' classroom teaching link and scaffolding teaching link fit is not high,including collaborative learning and effect evaluation link is the two links that teachers are most likely to ignore;(3)Students have a correct attitude towards geometry knowledge and can realize the importance of geometry in the process of learning;(4)Through the careful design of the five links of the scaffolding teaching mode and the reasonable construction of the teaching scaffolding,students ' geometric scores can be improved;(5)The suggestions for the application of scaffolding instruction in geometry teaching mainly include : moderately adjusting the links of scaffolding instruction,guiding the hands-on practice in the independent exploration link,strengthening the group cooperation in the collaborative learning link,and constructing the evaluation mechanism in the effect evaluation link.
