Economic globalization has not only accelerated the flow of goods,technology,information,services,money,personnel,capital,management experience and other factors of production on a global scale.Moreover,it has promoted the global trade integration and the formation of the world multilateral trade pattern.In the process of the development of global economic integration,firstly,some developed countries have taken the lead position in the field of international trade and investment,and have taken the initiative in formulating global trade rules and foreign investment policies.Secondly,with the comparative advantages of land resources and cheap labor resources,developing countries have also actively participated in the construction of the global economic value chain by introducing and absorbing foreign capital and technological experience.formed a set of brand-new upgrading industrial development chain.Since the 1990 s,China has become the largest developing country in attracting foreign investment in the world.To a certain extent,the entry of foreign investment has helped our government to achieve the goal of economic development and expanding labor employment.However,there is an imbalance between the rapid development of the domestic market economy and the upgrading of an industrial structure.the improvement of the labour quality,and the related problems of employment and wage imbalance are gradually emerging.Under the background of deepening reform and pursuing high-quality development,it is necessary to study the influence mechanism and effect of foreign capital entry on gender employment and gender wage gap.This paper consists of five parts.The first chapter is the introduction,which introduces the research background and significance,research content,innovation and shortcomings of this paper,and the second chapter is the literature review.the scholars' research on the impact of foreign capital entry on gender employment and wage gap from the perspectives of foreign capital entry and spillover and gender discrimination.The third chapter is the theoretical model analysis,based on Becker's competition suppression discrimination theory,analyzes the impact of foreign investment on gender employment,and establish a wage model to introduce gender difference parameters,then analyze the impact of foreign investment on the gender wage gap in enterprises.The fourth chapter is the part of empirical model analysis,which first verifies the benchmark impact of foreign investment on gender employment and wage gap in China's industrial enterprises,and then from the perspective of factor intensity of industrial enterprises,industrial enterprises are divided into capital-technology-intensive enterprises and labor-intensive enterprises,and further analyze the impact of foreign capital entry on gender employment and wage gap in enterprises with different factor intensity.finally,according to the difference of the establishment year of enterprises,the impact of foreign investment on gender employment and gender wages is analyzed.The fifth chapter is the conclusions and policy advice,this part summarizes the conclusions of the full text,and on this basis to provide relevant feasible suggestions.The results show that: first,the entry of foreign capital has a restraining effect on the gender employment gap in industrial enterprises,but increases the gender wage gap;second,in capital technology-intensive industries,the entry of foreign capital has restrained the gender employment gap,but increased the gender wage gap.However,the performance in labor-intensive industries is not the same,the impact of foreign investment on the gender employment gap is not significant,but increased the gender wage gap;third,the classification of enterprises shows that,in the capital technology-intensive enterprises and labor-intensive enterprises less than 10 years,the entry of foreign capital has played a role in narrowing the gender employment gap,the entry of foreign capital has played a role in widening the gender wage gap.In capital technology-intensive enterprises and labor-intensive enterprises that have been established for more than 10 years,the entry of foreign capital has no significant impact on gender employment and wage gap.
