With the spread of the global economy in the world, some developed countries and developing countries have absorbed huge amounts of overseas capital.Especially after entering 2000,in the wave of globalization, international trade and international investment have become the two wheels driving the development of the world economy. The superb technology, better management practices, higher productivity and specialization of high-skilled jobs brought by multinational corporations will all have a non-negligible impact on the labor market and human society of the host country. In this context, this paper uses the World Values Survey data and the World Bank database to analyze the impact of foreign investment on gender perceptions in employment.By substituting key variables, intercepting sub-samples and adding instrumental variables, the impact of foreign capital entry on employment gender attitudes is analyzed respectively.Using the female labor force participation rate and the gender wage gap as the mechanism of action, this paper examines the impact of foreign investment on gender perceptions of employment. Then divide the overall sample into groups with lower income level and higher income level, women with lower education level and women with higher education level, and analyze the impact of foreign investment on employment gender concept respectively. The results show that: it can be concluded that the entry of foreign capital has a significant positive effect on the concept of gender equality in employment, that is to say,the more foreign capital enters, the concept of gender equality in employment can be significantly improved.A similar regression result was obtained. Moreover,if the exchange rate is selected as the instrumental variable of foreign capital entry,it can still be found that foreign capital entry has a significant positive effect on gender perceptions of employment, indicating that the result is very robust.Introducing the female labor force participation rate and gender wage gap as intermediary variables, the mechanism test results show that the entry of foreign capital will significantly improve the concept of gender equality in employment by narrowing the gender wage gap and expanding women’s employment share. The heterogeneity test proves that for countries with higher income levels and groups with higher levels of female education, the entry of foreign capital will significantly improve the concept of gender equality in employment by narrowing the gender wage gap and expanding women’s employment share. Finally, this paper makes the following policy recommendations: formulate a good economic opening policy and attract more foreign investors, which will help create jobs and boost economic growth in the region.Build more infrastructure and provide quality education.Develop locally applicable programs to increase educational opportunities for girls.
