Parentification refers to the phenomenon that children accept expectations from parents and fulfill parental roles passively in the family.Parentification is a phenomenon of interaction with important others in the early stage of in dividual growth, which easily affects the interpersonal schema of the individual and has a constructive or destructive effect on interpersonal relationships.University is an important period for establishing self-identity and intimacy.Furthe rmore, interpersonal relationship is an important growth issue.Does the experie nce of early(childhood or adolescence)parentification affect undergraduate's in terpersonal satisfaction? What factors constitute its influence mechanism? In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the study is divided into two parts. The first study use a revised parentification measurement tool to co nduct a retrospective survey of 609 college students, exploring the impact of p arentification on college students' interpersonal satisfaction, and the mediating mechanism of big five personalities and self-differentiation.Further,the researcher adopte the multiple group analysis to explore whether the love experience has similarities or differences in the effects of parentification and interpersonal satisfaction.Based on the first study, the second study use 106 couples of the college student who falls in love as subjects to conduct dyadic data and constr ucte an actor-partner interdependence model of intimate relationships. The result s indicate as following:(1)The revised Parentification Questionnaire(PQ)consists of 24 items,in cluding three dimensions: instrumental parentification, emotional parentification, and unfairness.Four competition models including the original three-factor mod el,the revised three-factor model, the two-factor model, and the single-factor model are established. The comparison results of the goodness of model fitting indicate that the main fitting indexes of the revised three-factor model are opt imal.the reliability meets the statistical requirements.(2)The score report on each dimension and its total score of parentificati on show lower than the theoretical median, and there are no significant differe nces between groups in gender, age, and love experience. The total scores of i nstrumental parentification, unfairness, and parentification among college student s with non-only children were significantly higher than those with only childre n.Besides,in instrumental parentification and unfairness dimensions, there is a s ignificant interaction effect between love experience and only or non-only child. In the dimension of unfairness, the relationship between love experience and gender has a significant interaction effect.(3)Structural equation model test results show that there are chain mediati on effects of neuroticism and self-differentiation between parentification and int erpersonal satisfaction.Further, multiple group analysis found that groups with different love experiences have significant differences in the chain-mediating m odel.(4)Structural equation model analysis of college couple samples find that the chain-mediating effect of neuroticism and self-differentiation on the parentifi cation and intimacy satisfaction is significant. In the actor-partner interdependen ce model test, there is a significant actor effect among college couples, but the partner effect isn't significant. This study enriches research in the fields of parentification and interperson al relationships.Further,it validates Jurkovic's(2004)eco-ethical perspective an d Minuchin's(2013)family boundary theory.Thereby,it provides advice for be tter caring for children and family education.
