This study explores the impact of matrital attachment and marital satisfaction on reproductive motivation.Because there is no mature questionnaire on reproductive motivation at present,it is necessary to compile the questionnaire on reproductive motivation first.Through the consultation of relevant literature and interviews,a questionnaire consisting of 26 items is formed.After testing 393 parents under the age of 42 who had already had a child and obtained research data,the remaining 18 items were analyzed after project analysis and exploratory factor analysis.The study was conducted on 381 parents under the age of 42 who had been married to have one child.The questionnaires of 18 projects were used as tools to re-test and obtain research data.After confirmatory factor analysis,reliability and validity analysis,the final reproductive motivation questionnaire come into being.The questionnaire included four dimensions: influence,positive attitude,negative attitude,and safety.The reliability coefficients were 0.817,0.796,0.829,and 0.742,respectively.The overall reliability coefficient of the questionnaire was 0.864.After the establishment of the motivation questionnaire for reproduction,the research explores the influence of marital attachment and marital satisfaction on the reproductive motivation,The less likely a wife is to choose to have a second child.The experience in close relationships scale,the marital satisfaction scale,and the reproductive motivation questionnaire were used to measure marital attachment,marital satisfaction,and reproductive motivation.The experience in close relationships scale includes two dimensions: attachment avoidance and attachment anxiety.The marital satisfaction scale includes one dimension of marital satisfaction.The reproductive motivation questionnaire contains four dimensions: influence of others,positive attitude,negative attitude,and safety.The couple were married to a couple who were married under the age of 42 and had a child.The data processing was based on the actor-partner independence model.In the dyadic data,the independent variable of the individual predicts the dependent variable as the actor effect,and the independent variable of the individual predicts the dependent variable of the spouse as the partner effect.The results show that: 1.The attachment partner effect of marital attachment on reproductive motivation is significant,showing a negative predictive effect.The higher the husband's attachment avoidance and attachment anxiety,the weaker his wife's reproductive motivation.The wife is less likely to reproduct.The higher the degree of attachment and avoidance anxiety of the wife,the weaker the husband's reproductive motivation.The husband is less likely to reproduct.2.Marital satisfaction has a actor effect on the main body of reproductive motivation,showing a positive predictive effect.The higher the husband's marital satisfaction,the stronger his motivation to reproduce.He is more likely to reproduct.The higher the wife's marital satisfaction,the stronger her motivation to reproductive.She is more likely to reproduct.Marriage satisfaction has a significant parter effect on the spouse's reproductive motivation and has a positive predictive effect.The higher the husband's marital satisfaction,the stronger the wife's reproductive motivation.The wife is more likely to reproduct.The higher the wife's marital satisfaction,the stronger the husband's reprodcutive motivation.The husband is more likely to reproduct.3.Marital satisfaction plays an intermediary role between husband and wife attachment and reproductive motivation.Husband and wife attachment promotes the reproductive motivation through the intermediary effect of marriage satisfaction.Individuals with good attachment status and high marital satisfaction are more likely to choose to have a second child.
