Chinese social address terms play an important role in Chinese communication.Learners who use Chinese as a second language must learn Chinese social address terms when learning Chinese.Thai middle school students with Chinese proficiency at the elementary to intermediate level hope to learn Chinese social appellations that are frequently used and widely used to meet the needs of studying and communicating in China.Chinese social appellations have always been difficult in teaching Chinese as a foreign language, but there is less research on the Chinese social appellation bias of Thai middle school students in the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language.Taking the middle school students in Thailand as the research object, the 81 Chinese social appellations appearing in the 8 textbooks of "Experiencing Chinese" from junior high school to high school are the scope of investigation.Several questions about the Chinese social address terms bias in Thai middle school students are discussed: the problem of bias rate, the type of bias type, the cause of bias, and based on this, put forward some teaching suggestions. From the perspective of the types of social address terms, the universal address terms have the highest bias rate;from the type of bias, the substitution bias rate is the highest. There are five main causes of bias:the negative transfer of the native language word formation rules, thetarget language structure The word rules are over-generalized,the Chinese social address terms in the textbooks have low recurrence rate, the classroom training situation is single, and the Thai language interpretation is misleading.
