With the development of the times,there are more and more challenges for school education.Schools should not only focus on what and how to learn,but also on when and where to learn.Museums,as an important carrier of human civilization,are not only an available resource for school curriculum development,but also an important learning space for teachers and students.Due to the fact that there is a lack of museum's related knowledge for school teachers and museum staff do not possess pedagogy-related professional knowledge,co-developed courses have become an inevitable choice for deepening school curriculum construction and expanding learning space.According to the preliminary investigation,it is found that collaboration between the museum and school is not thorough,and the implementation of museum courses is not satisfactory.Based on that,this study selected three primary schools which have built cooperation with museums in Chengdu,and five important museums for pupils during off campus.By using multiple methods such as questionnaire,interview and case analysis,this paper aims to investigate the attitudes of all parties(students,schools and museums)towards museum learning,the current situation of museum curriculum development(curriculum cohesion,curriculum implementation,curriculum evaluation,etc.)and the evaluation of the effectiveness of the collaboration between the museum and school in museum curriculum development.The results show that although the collaboration between the museum and school in the development of primary school museum curriculum has gained some experience,there are still many problems that need to be solved in the primary school museum curriculum development,such as the lack of awareness of the cooperation between the museum and school,the lack of communication and the depth of curriculum activities,the lack of teachers' motivation and investment in manpower,material and financial resources.The existence of the above problems not only stems from the cognitive bias of the relevant subjects on collaboration between the museum and school,but also relates to time,energy and ability.Based on the above analysis,this paper proposes five mechanisms of curriculum development with collaboration between the museum and primary school:policy guidance,organization operation,evaluation,incentive,and security,etc.First of all,the higher authorities of museums and schools should pay attention to the development of museum curriculum and provide certain policy guidance;Secondly,museums and schools should set up curriculum development teams and formulate curriculum implementation plans tosolve the irregular and unprofessional problems of museum curriculum development;Thirdly,in order to effectively promote the teaching of teachers and the learning of students,according to different teaching methods,different evaluation indicators should be designed;In addition,establish incentive mechanisms from the four aspects of material,administration,honor,and ideal to effectively improve the problem of insufficient motivation of museum and school teachers;Finally,cooperation must be effectively guaranteed in terms of manpower,material and financial resources.Through these mechanisms,we hope to overcome some difficulties in collaboration between the museum and school,so as to enrich educational practice paths,make full use of museum education resources,and make collaboration between the museum and school more standardized.
