The purpose of this research is to explore the influence of middle school students' self-cognition on materialism in China and Russia,and the differences of self-cognition and materialism in different cultures of middle school students in the two countries.Study USES the self scale(Chinese/Russian)of middle school students "and" materialism scale(Chinese/Russian)"in the translation proofreading,on the basis of study on 140 middle school students between China and Russia in the,using SPSS23.0 software and related inspection,linear regression analysis method for middle school students' level of self-awareness between the two countries for data analysis in terms of the influence of the materialism.The results are as follows: In this study,140 Chinese and Russian middle school students were surveyed by using the adolescent self-perception scale and the materialistic tendency questionnaire.The results are as follows:(1)In terms of the differences of self-cognition and its dimensions,Russian middle school students are higher than Chinese middle school students in terms of the total score of self-cognition,academic self-dimension score and social self-dimension score.In terms of the total score of self-cognition,academic self-dimension and social self-dimension,Russian female middle school students scored higher than Chinese female middle school students.Chinese male middle school students scored higher than female students in the academic dimension of self-perception.There was a positive correlation between the emotional self-dimension and the age of middle school students in the two countries.The scores of Russian middle school students in the middle age group were higher than that of Chinese middle school students in the middle age group.There was a positive correlation between the emotional dimension score,the total selfcognition score and the age in Russian high schools.(2)In the aspect of materialism and its dimensions: the total score of materialism,the dimension of material interest,the dimension of material desire and the dimension of material pursuit,Chinese middle school students are higher than Russian middle school students.In the dimension of materialistic material interest,the males of the Chinese and Russian middle school students score higher in this dimension.The scores of Chinese male middle school students in the dimension of material worship,the dimension of material pursuit,the dimension of material desire and the total score of materialism were all higher than those of Russian male middle school students.In terms of the total score of materialism,material interest dimension,material pursuit dimension and material desire dimension,Chinese female middle school students scored higher than Russian female middle school students.In the dimension of materialism,Chinese male middle school students score higher than female middle school students.In terms of material interest,Russian male middle school students scored higher than female middle school students.There is a negative correlation between the dimension of material worship,the dimension of material vanity,the total materialism and the age of middle school students in the two countries.In terms of the total score of materialism,material interest dimension,material pursuit dimension and material desire dimension,Chinese middle school students in the middle age group scored higher than Russian middle school students in the middle age group.In terms of the total score of materialism,material interest dimension,material pursuit dimension and material desire dimension,the score of Chinese middle school students in the senior group was higher than that of Russian middle school students in the senior group.The dimension of material worship,the dimension of material vanity and the dimension of material desire of Chinese middle school students are negatively correlated with age.(3)In terms of self-cognition and the influence of dimensions on materialism and its dimensions,the total self-cognition scores of Chinese and Russian middle school students could negatively predict the total materialism scores.The social self dimension score of self-cognition can negatively predict the material interest dimension score of materialism.The emotional dimension score of self-cognition can negatively predict the dimension score of materialistic material pursuit.The academic dimension score of self-cognition can negatively predict the material desire dimension score of materialism.The emotional dimension of Chinese and Russian middle school students' selfcognition can negatively predict the dimension of materialistic material pursuit.
