| In recent years,the instant messaging tool,such as QQ,Wechat and Ding Talk,have greatly facilitated people's daily communication and also become an important tool of grassroots teachers to perform daily home-school communication.It not only provides convenience for communication but also brings opportunities and challenges to the innovation of educational management.On the one hand,schools should consider how to improve the quality of teaching and the efficiency of home-school communication through instant messaging tools,so as to enhance the information sharing and exchange among parents,students and teachers.On the other hand,the use of instant messaging tools has raised a higher requirement for parents.To make a good use of instant messaging tools in home-school communication,teachers and parents need to work together.With the speeding up of urbanization process in our country,a large number of "urban villages" with special geographical location have appeared.They are located in the city while their development is relatively lagging.Due to the restrictions on the education and teaching conditions,the quality of residents and migrant of parents,the education quality is not high and the education management is difficult in "urban villages".Improving the level and efficiency of home-school communication in "urban villages" is crucial to the improvement of its overall education quality.Herein,we studied the present situation of home-school communication in the primary school of "urban villages" through objective research methods such as questionnaires,and analyzed the challenges in the use of instant messaging tools in home-school communication.Due to the convenience of instant messaging tools and the active promotion of schools,there are fewer obstacles from teachers.In comparison,parents have more obstacles in home-school communication,mainly showing in the improper use of instant messaging tools,inappropriate publishing of content in class groups,and inactive communication with teachers.This is related to the low education level of the residents in the “urban villages”,more intergenerational support,less investment in education,and the lack of class and group rules.In order to solve these obstacles emerged,corresponding solutions have been proposed from four perspectives:government,school,teacher,and parent,which provided a certain reference for improving the education management level and efficiency of the primary schools in "urban villages". |
