Malaysia is a multiethnic and multilingual country,problems related to Chinese education has been the focus of Chinese-Malaysian for a long time.Chinese education is an important way to maintain ethnic identity and inherit Chinese culture.In the past years,however,the development of Chinese education is continually faced with various challenges,which not only directly restrict the realization of education rights in mother tongue,but also affect the spread of Chinese culture around the world.Inspired by analytic hierarchy process in international migration study,this article divided the influence factors of Chinese education development into three levels.The micro level factors include the change of identities of Chinese-Malaysian,the change of population structural and the change of relationships between Chinese associations.the median level factor is about ethnic relation and government policy.On a macro level,the influence of China and the impact of English education are important external factor that affect the development of Chinese education.This article holds that,though the development of Chinese education are influenced by various levels factor,ethnic relation is still the critical factor.
