In recent years,some teaching institutions have used domestic edition language textbooks to conduct online Chinese teaching for overseas ethnic Chinese children and teenagers,and whether the mini-edition of Chinese textbooks as a new textbook under the domestic "new curriculum reform" can meet the requirements of overseas Chinese children and adolescents needs to be further verified Chinese.The applicability of the first-grade Chinese volume in the teaching of Chinese among overseas Chinese children is explored,and it is hoped that the results of this paper can provide some reference for the academic community.Based on the author’s online teaching practice in Lingo Ace Chinese School,this paper explores the applicability of this textbook in the teaching of Chinese among overseas children by taking seven school-age children with similar Chinese proficiency in the same curriculum as the observation object,taking the first-grade Chinese textbook as the research content,and the interview content of the teachers of the same course and the results of the parent questionnaire as supplementary information.The first chapter is the basic introduction of the school profile and curriculum of Lingo Ace Chinese school,the second chapter analyzes the content selection and overall arrangement characteristics of the textbook,and the arrangement of five language elements such as phonetics,Chinese characters,vocabulary,grammar,and cultural factors,and the third chapter analyzes the applicability of the textbook from the use of each element text of the textbook in the teaching process.In Chapter 4,the applicability of teaching materials is discussed by analyzing the interview content of teachers teaching the same course and the results of parent questionnaires,and in Chapter 5,the author puts forward relevant suggestions for teaching institutions and Chinese teachers using the textbook based on the research results.Through research,we found that the arrangement of the textbook voice elements is well liked by students.The classroom teaching activities are smooth.The Chinese characters are difficult to be moderate,the arrangement is reasonable,and the students’ acquisition is better.In addition,the vocabulary in textbooks can be used for Chinese vocabulary teaching overseas Chinese vocabulary but has no obvious advantages.However,the textbooks are not applicable in the teaching process.Among them,the grammatical point is relatively simple and does not clearly explain the rules of grammar projects.Teachers need to explain the grammar project according to the students’ circumstances,which greatly tests the teacher’s ability to grasp the grammar.At the same time,the cultural factors of teaching materials are rich in content,and the length is more appropriate.It can provide a certain reference for overseas Chinese children’s Chinese culture teaching.However,for overseas Chinese children who are different in cultural differences,the learning goals of this part of the content are difficult to achieve.Adjust the teaching goals and content presentation methods. |
