The goal of post-writing exercises in intensive textbooks is to train writing skills on the basis of close contact with the text, while taking into account the training of other language skills. It is both connected and different from the writing practice of writing textbooks. This article takes the after-class writing exercises of the intensive textbooks of "Developing Chinese(Second Edition)" as the research object, and uses the literature research method, quantitative research and survey methods to investigate the writing questions and writing training elements. In this paper, the research on writing question types is divided into two aspects: design and distribution.Through investigation,it is found that the writing practice question types are more diverse, but the distribution is uneven;the task complexity of the question types generally follows the principle of gradual progress, but the partial order is improper. In terms of writing training elements, there is a problem of mismatch between writing practice topics and text topics;writing genres are mainly narrative, and there is a lack of training in other writing genres;the setting of prompt information is in order;the setting of word count is not reasonable. In order to further understand the actual use,we conducted questionnaire surveys and personal interviews with teachers and students using the teaching materials. The survey found that teachers and students' understanding of the relationship between writing exercises and texts and their attitudes to the types and training elements of writing exercises are generally the same, but there are certain differences. Finally,we put forward some suggestions for the writing practice of comprehensive textbooks based on the characteristics of the class, the objectives of the textbooks, the views of teachers and students, and the actual situation of the students' work.
