As China’s economy continues to develop, more and more foreigners start to learn Chinese. Being as symbols used to record Chinese, in the learning of Chinese, the teaching of Chinese Character is not negligible. However, for Chinese learners, especially Indonesia learners who has used to the phonetic symbol, Chinese Character then become one of the difficulties in learning Chinese. Because of this difficulties, they always doesn’t complete task given by their teachers.The author had been teaching Chinese in Chongwen Zhongxiaoxue, Medan, Indonesia for two years. After graduate, the author intends to continue teaching in that school. In order to help them study better in Chinese especially Chinese Characters, the author deliberately choose the “Chinese Characters Writing Errors” as thesis’ s topic. Through this research, the author hope to understand better about problems that students encountered during the writing of Chinese Characters, then analyze the problems, and last will put forward on some teaching strategies.This book has five chapters. First chapter introduce the reason of choosing this topic, the purpose of this research, methods and object of this research and the condition of previous research on Chinese Characters. The second chapter describe about the developing of Chinese in Indonesia, analyze the teaching and learning situation in Chong Wen Zhongxiaoxue. Third chapter subscribe, analyze, group and count the Chinese Characters writing errors of Chongwen’s Chinese intermediate students based on the questioner given to the students. Fourth chapter analyze the reason of the errors made by Chong Wen’s Chinese intermediate students, then raising some teaching strategies according to the reasons. Fifth chapter is epilog of this thesis. The author hopes this thesis will help Indonesia Chinese learners learn better in Chinese in order to improve their ability in learning Chinese. Besides, also hope this thesis will be a reference for the Chinese teaching and the writing of Chinese textbook.
