| With the coming of digital age,customers are more and more familiar with digital products,but enterprises are not necessarily so.Enterprises hope to use digital transformation like digitization of business processes,manufacturing and even to develop new digital business to realize the growth of enterprises.But in the process of implementation,it is difficult because of the lack of comprehensive readiness for the digital transformation.However,the application of today's digital transformation is not limited to ERP and other costly management information systems.Under the new digital transformation,what should enterprises do to prepare for the upcoming digital challenges?How does digital readiness affect performance?These are the problems that this study hopes to solve.On the basis of summarizing the previous studies,this study firstly explores the characteristics and connotation of digital readiness by combining the concept of readiness for change and the background of digital transformation.Then,by means of questionnaire survey,taking the in-service staff of enterprises with relevant experience of digital transformation as the research sample,this paper investigated the differences of various characteristics of digital readiness among different groups,and found that different types of departments,participation in digital projects,and job levels lead to differences in digital readiness.In addition,the influence of digital readiness on work performance is explored from two different perspectives of task and ability.Specifically,this study found the mediating effect of creativity self-efficacy and collaborative job crafting between digital readiness and work performance.And the effect of creativity self-efficacy is much greater than collaborative job crafting.For managers,only the digital readiness at the individual level can directly affect work performance.The self-efficacy of creativity plays a mediating role in the relationship between the partial molecular dimension and job performance,but there is no mediating role in collaborative job crafting.The research on the characteristics and effect mechanism of digital readiness can help enterprises fully realize their advantages and disadvantages in the preparation for transformation.It is hoped that enterprises can put more energy into the change of employees' self-cognition,so as to achieve rapid improvement of enterprise performance. |
