Research On The Technology Innovation Of Intermediate Goods Imported Based On Absorbing Capacity

With the development of world economic integration,technical innovation play an important role in development of the economic.With the expansion of the international trade in our country,absorbing the import trade of technology spillover to improve our country's technology innovation,has become one of the main source of innovation at the present stage.With the development of world economic integration and China's reform and opening-up,China actively participates in the international division of labor,the rapid growth of China's manufacture industry urges China to become the important “World factory”.Becasure of labor cost advantage,the size and species of the imports of intermediate goods grow rapidly,China has became the important country in imports of intermediate goods.Intermediate goods imported as a one of the important carrier of new knowledge and technology,is also the important factors affecting technological innovation.We can make an improvement in the technology innovation by absorbing the technology that included in imported intermediate goods,and then improve the technical level,or promote the development of economy.But,whether we can make an improvement in the technology innovation by absorbing the technology that included in imported intermediate goods,and then improve the technical level,or promote the development of economic.It is also effected by absorptive capacity of our country.Only the technology spillovers that match the absorptive capacity of our country,can promote the technology innovation and the development of economy.In the first chapter,I make a brief introduction to the background,purposes and significances of this research,the content and method of this research,as well as the innovation points and disadvantages of this research.In the second chapter,This paper mainly introduces the theory and literature review,which briefly reviews and combs the relevant important literatures about absorbing capacity,intermediate goods imported and technology innovation,this dissertation respectively selects competition effect,learning effect,cost effect and diversified quality elements effect the four dimensions as research perspectives.In chapter 3,we analyze the mechanisms of intermediate goods imported on technology innovation,like trade liberalization incentive effects,R&D capital effects and human capital incentive effects.In chapter 4,we using the1998-2014 provincial panel data,and with the help of international R&D spillovers model,to empirical test the effect of intermediate goods imported on technology innovation.In chapter 5,we use the threshold regression method to measure the threshold effects of several factors including level of economic development,level of R&D spending,and level of human capital.Research into the technology innovation of intermediate goods imported based on absorbing capacity.In the last chapter,make a summarize about the conclusion and put forward the relevant policy suggestions.Through the theoretical study and the empirical test,we found conclusion that:under the trade liberalization,intermediates goods imported could significantly promote the improvement of China's technology innovation,but the absorbing capacity is limited becasure of lack of Economic development level and research level.In theend,we put forward the relevant policy suggestions that we should increase the input in research and development,increase the efficiency of research and development capital;Increase education spending,strengthen the skills training;Develop the high technology industry,optimize the structure of imported intermediates goods.
