Research On The Scale And Structure Of Bilateral Trade Between Cambodia And China

Cambodia and China signed a cooperation agreement in the relevant field since 1996,the bilateral trade is growing rapidly.In 2015,bilateral trade volume reached 4.4 billion yuan RMB,Cambodia and China are important trading partners.Recently,Cambodia and China's new leaders boarded the stage of history,the bilateral trade relations have made new breakthrough but influencing by the international market is becoming more deeply at the same time.The trade imbalances and Structure optimization brought great challenges to the development of bilateral trade,to study the trade relations of Cambodia and China,is important to optimize the structure of bilateral trade,to implementation of bilateral trade complementary,to promote transformation and upgrading of industrial structure of the two countries and to promote the bilateral trade cooperation.This article focuses on the scale and structure of bilateral trade of Cambodia and China.First of all,the application of the method of literature review of Cambodia trade scale and structure of the background,research status and related theories are summarized;Secondly,combining with the related theory,through using the combination method of qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis,analyze from Cambodia and China's trade scale,structure,complementarity,dependence and so on,find out the problems and the reasons;Then,according to the actual situation of the two countries,put forward to optimize suggestions to Cambodia and China's trade structure,including: enhancing mutual trust,creating the environment,giving full play to the advantages,optimizing the structure,openness and cooperation,win-win development,developing opportunities and challenges;Finally,the paper summarizes and prospects.After the study,it find that he main characteristic of bilateral trade is high dependency trade imbalances、high dependency of Chinese goodsimport、low technical content export goods,and the main reason of the structure is not optimal is the international environment、 the level of economic development、 resources endowment difference and trade policy,but it conforms to the development stage of the two countries.Last,the article points out that to optimizing the structure of bilateral trade,Cambodia and China have to promote Political trust、Trade policy、 Opening up and cooperation、Promote the complementary to each other,and thinks that the trade deficit of Cambodia and China will exist for a period of time,but it suitable for political and economic development of the two countries.
