As the old saying goes,food is the paramount necessity of the people.Catering company plays an important role in people's life.In recent years,the declining profit brings great pressure to catering company for various reasons,mainly the "Four High"——high taxes and fees,high raw material prices,high labour cost and high rent.Therefore,catering companies have to transform and upgrade in a prompt manner.H Group is a modern enterprise group integrating normal and high level catering,entertainment,culture and real estate,which was established in 2000 and has over 100 million turnovers.And it is among the top 3 in the catering industry of Yunnan Province.Its high-end catering market accounting for over half its business fell back rapidly after the authority issued "The Eight Rules".By contrast,popular catering and specialty catering have been rising notably for great demand.Following the trend of industry development,H Group made a major adjustment on future development strategy based on its condition in the second half of 2016.The purpose of the design is to optimize the organization structure of H Group for its old organization structure not able to support the development and transformation.The author mainly studies enterprise organization structure optimization with H Group as study object.In the first part,the author explains the background and significance,related literature review,research contents and main research methods,and briefly introduces relative basic theory,including organization theory,strategic theory and innovation theory.Then,the author introduces the basic information of H Group,finds out problems in present development strategy and organization structure by questionaire survey and interviews and analyses the problem and its cause.In the end,the author provides the optimizationn design plan and the summary of personnel allocation,department responsibility and main position responsibility in this organization structure.
