Rapid progress in the 21 st century,social science,information technology in a day,people's way of thinking,life style and behavior way has had the qualitative change,the development of commercial Banks facing unprecedented challenges.If state-owned commercial Banks want to remain competitive over the long term,they have to adapt to the situation.Performance management as the core of the commercial Banks internal control components,one of the driving bank plays an important role in the operation and development,how to improve competitiveness by optimizing the performance management system is an urgent problem in the state-owned commercial Banks.In this paper,the current situation of performance management of A bank of Jilin branch,the balanced scorecard as the tool,redesigned bank performance management system,to enhance the core competitiveness,improve business performance goals.Firstly,the development of the performance management system of commercial Banks at home and abroad is summarized.Secondly,the theory of balanced scorecard is introduced to provide theoretical basis for further research.Thirdly,through the analysis of the performance management status of Jilin branch,summarize the problems and analyze the reasons;Then,the performance management system of Jilin branch was remade by using the balanced scorecard as a tool.Finally,the paper analyzes the possible problems after the introduction of the balanced scorecard and puts forward the safeguard measures.The results show that the Jilin branch accords with the import condition of balanced scorecard.By introducing the balanced scorecard to rebuild the performance management system,Jilin branch can improve its operation status,improve the customer base and enhance the core competitiveness.As a member of Jilin branch,the author aims to contribute to the healthy development of the bank through the research of this paper.At the end of this paper,we analyze the deficiencies of this study for future study.
