Influence Of Standardization On Technical Complexity Of Export Products In HunanProvince

Emphasizing that upgrading the quality of export products is an important measure for China's exports to face the transformation and upgrading in the new normal context.It is also an inevitable requirement for improving people's living standards.As an important indicator to evaluate the quality of exported products,the technical complexity of export has drawn extensive attention and research.In the meantime,the standardization strategy has also been vigorously promoted in our country in recent years.The implementation of this strategy will help raise the technological level and quality of export products of enterprises.From a theoretical point of view,standardization has a direct and indirect improvement on the technical complexity of export products.As one of the six central provinces,Hunan Province plays an important role in national strategies such as the rise of Central China and the "Belt and Road".In recent years,the volume of foreign trade in Hunan Province has been steadily increasing,and the quality of the exported products has been constantly improving.Standardization strategy is also being implemented.It is of great theoretical and practical significance to objectively evaluate the role of standardization strategy in improving the technical complexity of exports in Hunan Province.This paper selects the standardization of Hunan Province and the quality of export products as the research object.Among them,Hunan Province has the national standard of stock and patent level to measure-the level of standardization development.Export technical complexity as a measure of the quality of export products.The time span is from 2006 to 2015.Firstly,the display comparative advantage index method was used to calculate the technical complexity of export in Hunan province.Then,this paper established a vector error correction model to examine the short-term effects between the standardization and the export technical complexity.The conclusion of this paper shows that,firstly,the technical complexity of exports in Hunan Province showed a steady upward trend in 2006-2015 and export technical complexity has shown a relatively large growth since 2010.Secondly,it shows that there is a cointegration relationship between the standard stock,the level of patents and the technical complexity of export,that is,there is a balanced relationship in the long run.Third,the standard stock and the patent level are the Granger causes of the technical complexity of exports in Hunan Province.Finally,the results of the vector error correction model show that both the standard stock and the patent level have a positive effect on the technical complexity of exports in Hunan Province in the short and short term.And the long-term effect of this effect is greater than the short-term effect.The empirical analysis of this paper confirms that the standardization strategy will be helpful to the technical complexity of exports in Hunan Province both in length and in length.In practice,we should vigorously promote the implementation of the standardization strategy.
