Research On The Influence Of Patent Pool On Technology Innovation Of Enterprises In And Outside The Pool

In the process of global economic integration,faced with increasingly fierce competition,the trend of technological development and technical standard is increasingly strengthened.In this context,the patent pool emerges.A patent pool is,in layman's terms,a collection of patents,an agreement reached between two or more patent owners and can be licensed through the agreement.The patent pool has been growing since its inception,and the industry influence is on the increase。Patent pool can eliminate the patent barriers formed by "patent thicket",so that the technology can realize industrialization rapidly.The one-stop packaging license of the patent pool adapts to the development mode of modern industrial division of labor and the continuous elongation of industrial chain.There is no doubt that the formation of patent pool has a positive effect on technological innovation of enterprises.However,there is no clear distinction about the patent on the research of the technological innovation of enterprises in and outside the pool.Based on this,this paper first combs the relevant concepts of patent pool,its formation background and development characteristics,development history and trend,construction pattern and relevant theories of enterprise technological innovation..Then analyzing the patent pool influence mechanism to enterprise innovation inside and outside,including the enterprise innovation output analysis,the patent pool's influence to the industry inside and outside as a whole,positive influence and negative influence of the enterprise inside and outside,and compaing enterprise innovation output after the formation of patent pool.In order to further analysis,from the empirical point of view,respectively,set up the enterprise group the pool inside and outside,select all patents awarded quantity as the dependent variable,corporate r&d intensity as the independent variables,age,enterprise scale as control variable,set whether is pool members inside and outside as the virtual variables,,to analyze innovation of difference after the pool's formation of patent pool inside and outside the enterprise technology,and analyze the root causes of such differences from the perspective of patent references and patent cooperation between enterprises.Finally,according to the conclusion,the author puts forward relevant policy Suggestions from three levels:national,industry and enterprise.
