Research On The Improvement On Inventory Management Problems Of JW Food Co.,Ltd

The food processing industry,which has been a long-lasting industry,is the fundamental of the national economy.As a new industry,the market of halogen products leisure has become one of the rising stars,the market size will reach 223 billion 59 million yuan in 2017,so in this industry,every enterprise is trying their best to enhance their core competitiveness,and hope to win the initiative in the market competition.This paper is based on JW,help it find their problems,analyze the reasons,and eventually help them solve these problems,so as to enhance the core competitiveness of the company.As a member of leisure halogen industry,JW is one of the largest halal food chain enterprises with the largest number of stores in China.Its main products are mainly halogen stewed meat products such as duck,chicken and pig.Through the field investigation and analysis,there are many problems in inventory management due to the particularity of cold storage in such emerging market.As the most important part of cost management,effective inventory management can improve management efficiency,reduce unnecessary waste,so as to improve the cost advantage,but the existing enterprises are using the traditional inventory management mode,not with the idea of supply chain using the advanced multilevel inventory management mode of management.Therefore,the author first through on-the-spot investigation on J food company,and then referring to inventory management and supply chain management research results,research in accordance with the four aspects of inventory management,found purchase cost of raw materials is too high,warehousing stockpile is too scattered,the market demand forecast is not accurate and a series of problems.Then the author analyzed the causes of the problem,and combined with the supply chain management thought,from the four aspects of inventory management mode,inventory purchase,storage and sales link,put forward corresponding optimization solutions for the company.This paper improves the inventory management by using JMI joint inventory management mode.The research content of this paper has a good industry pertinence and can serve as a reference for the inventory management of other companies in the industry.
