Study On Location -Selection Of FDI In Guangdong -Enterprises

Under the background of economic globalization,when an enterprise has the ability to invest abroad,the first consideration is how to choose the location of investment.There are many factors that influence the selection of investment location,such as international capital,international technology,international labor force,etc.However,many enterprises do not have reasonable choice of location in the process of internationalization,resulting in poor investment income and limited development of enterprise internationalization.Therefore,how to combine the characteristics of the enterprise itself and the relevant policies of the investment country to make scientific and reasonable investment location selection is the urgent problem facing the enterprise.This paper studies the location selection and influencing factors of fdi in guangdong enterprises.The article adopts the method of combining theoretical and empirical research,first of all,summarizes domestic and foreign related theory about the foreign direct investment and the current situation of foreign investment in guangdong province,and further analysis of the influence factors of foreign direct investment in guangdong province.Then use related data of foreign direct investment of guangdong province in2016,selecting appropriate variables,using the generalized least squares method to carry on the empirical analysis,draw the following conclusions:(1)For market-looking enterprises,developing countries is one of the best investment destination;(2)for resource-seeking enterprises,developing countries are the best place to invest;(3)for the technology and capital seeking enterprises,the developed countries are the better investment location;(4)for international investment enterprises,developed countries are good investment location.They are sent to the country with high economic freedom,strong exchange rate and attractive investment.(5)in general,the four indicators of the host country's market size,purchasing power level,economic freedom and rich in natural resources,effect significantly aboutforeign direct investment location choice for guangdong,infrastructure,technology,currency,trade dependency are not significant.
