Entrepreneurship is not a new topic, but it never goes out of fashion. From the government issued a large number of entrepreneurial support policy,to the academic community published a plenty of entrepreneurial literature, and then to increasing number of start-up enterprises, which all show the community's high recognition of entrepreneurship. However, the annual success rate of entrepreneurship is less than 5%,which shows that the entrepreneurial ability of the public is still unable to keep up with entrepreneurial enthusiasm. On the one hand entrepreneurial activity is full of highly uncertainty,on the other hand the external environment is also highly dynamic, while prior knowledge is not enough to deal with such internal and external uncertainties. Therefore, the entrepreneur must learn from the practice to obtain unique and in-depth situational knowledge in order to produce new ideas or techniques to achieve breakthrough development and good corporate performance. This paper collects data based on the questionnaires formed by the existing, mature scales and conducts empirical analysis on the 517 valid questionnaires after filtrating. After the study,it was found that the action learning of entrepreneurs has a significant positive effect on the performance of new firms, and experiential knowledge and cognitive knowledge have a negative regulatory effect on the relationship between action learning and new firm performance. In addition, after further dividing the sample into high-tech industries and traditional manufacturing,it is found that the impact of action learning on new enterprise performance is more pronounced in high-tech industries, while the adjustment of experiential knowledge is more positive in traditional manufacturing industries.More significantly, there is no significant difference in the adjustment of cognitive knowledge between the two industries.Based on the above research, this paper believes that entrepreneurs should focus on action learning in the process of entrepreneurship, and cannot rely too much on relatively "inert" experiential knowledge and cognitive knowledge.Through practical learning could improve the entrepreneur's flexibility to deal with change, and build their own unique capabilities to improve the market competitiveness and corporate performance.
