Research On Land Use Behavior And Driving Force Of Rural Households In Beijing Suburbs

Since the implementation of the household contract responsibility system,farmers have become the actual users of the vast rural land.Their behavior affects the efficiency of cultivated land utilization and determines the development of agriculture.Suburb is a complex regional between urban and rural areas.It has the advantages of transportation,technology and capital,and also has the pressure of urban expansion.In this area,the land use conflict is obvious,and the household behavior changes fiercely.Taking suburb of Beijing as a research area,this paper studies farmers' land use behavior and driving force,which is of great significance for improving land use efficiency in Beijing suburb and promoting sustainable development of the region.This paper first divides the land use behavior into three levels: land transfer behavior,planting selection behavior and land input behavior,and then constructs the change mechanism of household land use behavior to analyze the variation trend of Beijing suburb household behavior in the last 20 years.According to 144 questionnaires of farmers' survey in Daxing District Weishanzhuang town,analyzes the current status and the driving force of household behavior.Finally,the policy suggestions are put forward for household behavior regulation.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)Over the past 20 years,the total area of crop sowing has decreased significantly in Beijing suburbs.The sowing area of grain crops has reduced more than 74.36%,and the reduction of economic crops is relatively small.In terms of the land use degree,the household replanting index has a downward trend in the whole,especially in recent year,the decline trend is obvious and large.In terms of the land input,the propaganda of cultivated land protection has some effect in recent years.Household investment in chemical fertilizers and pesticides has been reduced,and the proportion of all kinds of chemical fertilizers has tended to be reasonable,but farmers' enthusiasm of agricultural machinery investment is not high.(2)Most of the households in the study area have land transfer behavior,and the number of farmers who have entered the land and outflowed the land is similar.The trend of crop diversification is obvious.Most families choose to grow more than 2 crops.The highest planting proportion of them is corn,wheat and vegetables.In this area,the trend of farmers' labor input instead of capital investment is obvious.The main problems of the household behavior are: the consumption of water is too much,the pollution of agricultural environment is serious,and the efficiency of land use is relatively low.(3)By constructing regression models for different behaviors,it is found that the proportion of agricultural labor,the proportion of agricultural income and non-agricultural employment opportunities have a significant influence on different behavioral models,indicating that the agricultural labor and the main sources of family income are the main factors driving household behavior.Farmers' cognition of various land policies is also an important factor affecting the behavior of household,and the degree of understanding of different policies has a significant impact on the corresponding behavior model.According to the model of household comprehensive behavior,family characteristic factor and policy factor have a positive effect on household behavior,land income factor has a negative effect on household behavior.And the intensity is land income factor,policy factor and family characteristic factor in turn.Based on the above research results,the regulation mechanism of farmers' land use behavior is constructed.And the effective suggestions are put forward on the basis of two aspects of institutional policy and government guidance,which are designed and regulated from the aspects of promoting the rational circulation of land,promoting agricultural technology,perfecting the rural social security system,and agricultural insurance and compensation.These policy suggestions can provide some reference for the effective utilization of rural land in suburbs of Beijing and other large cities.
