In 2014,Chinese premier li keqiang proposed the “integration of the beijing-tianjin-hebei region” in the government work report, namely “increasing economic collaboration between the bohai bay and the beijing-tianjin-hebei region”.Which includes transportation integration, environmental protection integration and industrial integration, among which transportation integration is the foundation of the whole collaborative development. The traffic industry is vital to the economic development and the professional and technical personnel are the key development forces in the transportation industry. So,studying their degree of engagement will have a very important practical significance for the entire industry and the traffic commissions and units. On the other hand, scholars have found that the work pressure has become a problem that the professional and technical personnel of the transportation industry can not ignore. This paper highlights the growing job stress as a starting point to explore the impact of job stress on engagement of professional and technical personnel,in order to provide theoretical basis and relevant policy suggestions for stress regulation and improved engagement.Based on the research of relevant literature,we select the professional and technical personnel of Beijing traffic industry as the research object. We issue and recovery 901 sample datum and use SPSS software to explore the relationship between job stress and engagement and various dimensions of engagement.Empirical studies show that challenging job stress is positively correlated with engagement, and obstructive job stress is negatively correlated with engagement, challenging job stress is positively correlated with the basic needs, achievement needs, emotional needs, and growing needs of the engagement, and obstructive job stress is negatively correlated with achievement needs, emotional needs, and growing needs of the engagement, but is not significantly associated with basic needs of the engagement.First,we should appropriately increase the pressure of professional and technical personnel to improve their engagement.Second,we should reduce the work pressure of blocking to prevent the negative impact on employee engagement;Third,we should increase the "emotional needs" satisfaction of professional and technical personnel to enhance the degree of engagement;Fourth, professional and technical personnel should learn how to reduce pressure themselves,so as to enhance the degree of engagement.
