The bulk commodity electronic trading platform(“Commodity Platfom”)is a kind of e-commerce platform combining the spot commodity trading market and the technology of internet,established and operating under the support of various specific technologies such as e-commerce,internet,web of things,big data and clout computing,which may provide trading,logistics,financing,and information services for the circulation of commodities.Initiated in the year of 1997,such Commodity Platform gradually became the significant organizer and place of the spot commodity trade and experiences a tenyear instable and fluctuate development,during which occurred risk events frequently and presented a barbaric growth.This industry produces destabilizing factors to the society as well as itself suffers fund loss,complain,lawsuit and heavy liabilities and even the non-sustainability of business.After the nationwide inspection and correction by the authority of China to the industry,most such Commodity Platforms face a more serious crisis of supervision,legality,uncertainty of development,etc.The B Company is an outstanding and leading Commodity Platform in this industry.The research in this paper is on the basis of COSO risk management integrated framework and exercises a case study of the B Company.In this paper,the writer establishes an operational risk framework of B Company after the activities of risk identifying and assessment,and then puts forward to the suggestions of measures and regular risk management activities to every specific risk points under the framework and finally concludes the risk management system of the B Company.Considering the typicality of B Company in this industry who has taken use of nearly all of the business modes among other platforms,and the common outside environment of the entire industry,in this paper,the writer further puts forwards to suggestions to the development of the Commodity Platform industry in the view of risk management,hoping the case of B Company may be used for reference by other enterprises and facilitate the healthy and sustainable development of the industry.
