The Research On The Factors Affecting The Technology Spillover Effect Of Fdi In China's Producer Service Industry

At present,China's economy has entered a new normal.The growth rate has slowed down,the economic structure is in urgent need of adjustment,and economic development is facing new difficulties.As a carrier of technology and knowledge transfer,the producer service industry will generate a large amount of technology spillovers from FDI.The FDI of producer service industry can effectively promote China's economic transformation and upgrading.Based on the theories of foreign direct investment and new economic growth,this paper focuses on the factors that influence the FDI technology spillover effect of China's producer service industry according to the theoretical and empirical analysis.First of all,this article describes the overview of China's producer service industry and its FDI from the perspective of their development level and structural characteristics.This paper also makes a theoretical analysis of the transmission mechanism of technology spillovers from competition effect,demonstration and imitation effect,human capital flow effect and related effect,then it divides the influencing factors into national and industrial levels,which lays a theoretical foundation for the empirical analysis.Secondly,by selecting relevant data of China's producer service industry from 2004 to 2015,with the aid of TFP,use the national and industry level respectively to empirically analyze the influencing factors of FDI technology spillover effect in producer services.The regression results indicate that the two empirical analyses have all revealed that there is a technology spillover effect of FDI in China's producer service industry.The human capital level and infrastructure level at the national level have a significant positive impact on the technology spillover effect,while the research and development level has a significant negative impact;the average size of firms at the industry level has a significant positive effect on technology spillovers,while labor costs level and development level have a significant negative impact.Finally,based on the research conclusions of this article,put forward some corresponding countermeasures and suggestions from the national and industrial levels,in order to provide useful reference for promoting FDI in China's producer service industry,improving FDI technology spillover effect,and maintaining a healthy and steady economic growth.
