| The six provinces in the central region,as an important industrial base for commodity grain,energy and raw materials in China,play an important role in the geographical division of labor in China.With the successive implementation of the state's national-level regional planning policies for the six provinces in the central region,the economies in the central provinces have experienced rapid growth,but their economic aggregates and per capita levels have been lower than the national average.Therefore,its economic development potential needs to be further excavated.This paper starts from the economic catch-up model,and uses the Cobb-Douglas production function and OLS regression analysis method to study the main impetus for the economic growth of the six provinces of Henan,Henan,Hubei,Guizhou,Hunan and Guizhou during 2002-2016.Strengthen the factors for analysis.In order to provide reference for catching up with the six provinces,the main drivers of economic growth from 1990 to 2016 in the eight economically-promoting provinces of Jiangsu,Zhejiang,Shandong,Shandong,Guizhou,Guizhou,Mongolia,and Tibet were analyzed and needed to be strengthened.the elements of.Then,based on the similarity of the economic growth phase,that is,the elasticity coefficient of the OLS regression equation and the elasticity coefficient of the reference provinces at each time period are used to make similarities,respectively,to find out the corresponding economic growth stages of the six provinces to achieve the economic catch-up of the reference provinces.Finally,based on the corresponding basic conditions in the existing six economic developments in the six central provinces,combined with reference to the provinces can learn from the experience and lessons learned,summed up the six provinces in the central region to catch up with the economic model.The findings are as follows:(1)The economic growth drivers of Henan Province are foreign trade,physical capital,and industrial structure,while the labor force,research and development funds,urban development,and human capital factors hinder economic growth;basedon the OLS regression equation of Henan Province,2002-2016.Comparison of similarity between the elasticity coefficient and the elasticity coefficients of reference provinces in different time periods shows that the economic development status of Henan Province from 2002 to 2016 is the highest in Zhejiang Province from1992 to 2006,and the driving force for economic growth in Zhejiang Province is physical capital.,human capital and foreign trade.Therefore,Henan Province should maintain the role of foreign trade,material capital,and industrial structure factors in its economic growth;change the negative effects of labor force,intellectual capital,and urban development factors on economic growth,and focus on increasing the contribution of human capital to economic growth.(2)The driving force of economic growth in Shanxi Province is material capital,labor force,industrial structure,and urban development,while intellectual capital,foreign trade,and human capital factors play a negative role;based on the elasticity coefficient and reference of the OLS regression equation of Shanxi Province for2002-2016.A comparison of the similarity of the elasticity coefficient of each time period in the province shows that the economic development status of Shanxi Province from 2002 to 2016 is similar to the economic development status of Guangdong Province from 1994 to 2008.The driving force for economic growth in Guangdong Province is material capital,labor,intellectual capital,foreign trade,and urban development.Therefore,Shanxi Province should maintain the role of physical capital,labor force,industrial structure,and urban development factors in its economic growth;focus on improving the negative effects of intellectual capital and foreign trade factors on economic growth in Shanxi Province;The huge impetus of human capital to economic growth.(3)The driving force of Hunan's economic growth is urban development and material capital,while the contributions of labor force,industrial structure,foreign trade,intellectual capital,and human capital are small and negligible;this is based on the 2002-2016 OLS regression equation in Hunan Province.The similarity between the elasticity coefficient and the coefficient of elasticity of the reference provinces at each time period shows that the economic development of Hunan Province from 2002 to 2016 is most similar to that of Chongqing from 1994 to 2008,and the economic growth driver of Chongqing is material capital.With regard to human capital and urban development,Hunan Province should,on the basis of maintaining physical capital and urban development factors to promote economic growth,focus on adjusting the industrial structure,increasing the degree of openness to foreign trade,and increasing the scale of intellectual capital and human capital investment.(4)The economic growth drivers of Jiangxi Province are labor force,material capital,foreign trade,and urban development,while the industrial structure,intellectual capital,and human capital factors play a negative role;based on the elasticity coefficient and reference of the OLS regression equation of Jiangxi Province from 2002 to 2016 The comparison of similarities between the elasticity coefficients of provinces at different time periods shows that the economic development of Jiangxi Province from 2002 to 2016 is similar to that of Shandong Province from 1992 to 2006,and the economic growth driver of Shandong Province is material capital and urban development.And the foreign trade and human capital factors have a positive effect on their economic growth,but their contribution rate is small and negligible.Therefore,Jiangxi Province should focus on upgrading the level of opening to the outside world and foreign trade commodity structure,increase the input intensity of human capital and intellectual capital,improve the quality of urbanization,and base itself on the advantages of Jiangxi's good ecological environment to advance the green rise.(5)The economic growth drivers of Anhui Province are material capital,industrial structure,intellectual capital,and human capital,while labor force,industrial structure,foreign trade,and urban development factors play a negative role;based on the elasticity of the OLS regression equation of Anhui Province from 2002 to 2016 The similarity between the coefficients and the elasticity coefficients of the reference provinces at different time periods shows that the economic development status of Anhui Province from 2002 to 2016 is similar to the economic development status of Guizhou from 1995 to 2009,and that the economic growth of Guizhou Province is promoted by physical capital and knowledge.Capital and foreign trade.Therefore,Anhui Province should base its efforts on the economic growth ofphysical capital,industrial structure,intellectual capital,and human capital factors,and focus on increasing the scientific and technological content of export products;improve the overall quality of labor and promote the upgrading and transformation of industrial structure.(6)The economic growth drivers of Hubei Province are material capital and intellectual capital,while foreign trade,urban development,and human capital factors play a negative role;the elasticity coefficient of the OLS regression equation of Hubei Province for 2002-2016 and
