Spatial Pattern Of Urban Development Level In Three Provinces In Northeast China

Cities in the three northeastern provinces during the early days of the founding of the people's Republic of China periods,the national policy has promoted the large-scale heavy industrialization and mining of mineral resources in the Northeast.At that time,the development of urbanization in the northeast region was promoted,and the mineral and industrial products shipped from the northeast to the interior also accelerated the country's industrialization and urbanization.Since then,the development of cities in the Northeast has formed a single and solid industrial chain.Nowadays,resource-based cities in the Northeast are facing resource failures,the economic development of cities has experienced a recession,and economic restructuring has been difficult.Under the guidance of the planned economy,industrial development in the northeast has a single industrial structure.The existing pillar industries are now in a recession stage and reforms are difficult.The development of cities in the three northeastern provinces is not only related to the revitalization of Northeast China itself,but also to the development of cities in other regions.Based on the above-mentioned thinking,this paper,based on the understanding of the theoretical knowledge of urban development,defines the connotation of the level of urban development,and selects comprehensive and scientific indicators as far as possible to establish the evaluation system of urban development level.Using the entropy method and the analytic hierarchy process to measure the urban development level scores of the three northeastern provinces in 2007,2009,2011,2013 and 2015,and using cluster analysis to classify them into 4 levels.To find the spatial distribution of urban development in the three provinces of Northeast China.The results of the analysis are as follows:(1)The overall level of urban development in the three provinces of Northeast China has been increasing year by year from 2007 to 2013.The level of urban development in 2015 was relatively lower than that in 2013,which is consistent with the economic development trend of the three provinces in Northeast China.And the urban development level in the three northeastern provinces has a large spatial attenuation.(2)The level of urban development in the three northeastern provinces in space from 2007 to 2013 shows a trend of decreasing in the south,high in the north,and gradually decreasing.In 2015,the level of urban development is the spatial layout of“high in the middle and low in the north and south”.Moreover,the economic development level of the sub-system cities in the assessment of urban development level indicators also generally shows this pattern;the level of urban social development is synchronized with the development of cities;the development of the level of urban ecological environment in the three provinces of Northeast China from 2007 to 2015 With the increase in the development of cities,attention is paid to the protection and development of the urban environment,which is sustainable.(3)The level of urban development in the three northeastern provinces shows a weak autocorrelation in the vicinity.In 2007,the level of urban development in the three provinces of Northeast China has a weak competitive relationship.From 2009 to2015,the level of urban development has a weak agglomeration relationship,but the aggregation of urban development levels in the three northeastern provinces has been continuously strengthened.(4)The regional spatial autocorrelation spatial distribution of urban development levels in the three provinces of Northeast China is presented.In 2007 and 2015,“high-high” types were clustered in the south of the three northeastern provinces and clustered in the middle from 2009 to 2013;The "high-low" and "low-high" agglomerations are located in the southern and northern regions.The "low-high" agglomeration type and the "high-high" agglomeration type mainly revolve around Harbin City,Changchun City,and Daqing City.
