Spatial Pattern Of Economic Carrying Capacity In Prefecture-level Cities Of China

Urban economic carrying capacity is based on sustainable development,under the restrains of resource conditions and environmental capacity the huge economic system of the certain region can bear the weight of the largest economies scale for full development.That is said from the economic point of view of economic carrying capacity to consider the consistency of the urban economic development level and the speed of development,the consistency of economic development and social progress.Using the Exploratory Spatial Data Analysis(ESDA)and statistical global trend analysis to analyze spatial pattern of economic carrying capacity of urban on 288 prefecture-level cities of China and induction drive path carrying capacity and enhance the city's economic strategy.Through the analysis of the spatial pattern difference of urban economic carrying capacity,providing the adjustment suggestion of urban construction.According to the analysis,spatial distribution pattern of urban economic carrying capacity of the prefecture-level cities in China showing certain regularities:(1)the spatial distribution of economic carrying capacity generally assumes East,middle and West three ladder descending trend and with Heihe-Baise line for the community,the East decreases from southeast to northwest,the west is more dispersed,numerical value from high to low attenuation speed from fast to slow then fast.(2)Spatial distribution of the carrying capacity of urban economies showing weak positive spatial autocorrelation,local spatial autocorrelation shows that the polarization types remain the main features of the spatial autocorrelation of urban economic carrying capacity of China.Analysis Hot spot show that obvious 4 structure distributions,the temperature of the South is higher than the North,the Eastern is higher than the Western,the coastal is higher than inland.(3)The spatial difference of economic carrying capacity mainly different between the direction of East and West,and the difference of economic development mainly reflected in the north and south direction,both from low to high stage,corresponding to the position of the Eastern,central and Western of China.(4)Three main ways of improving the urban economic carrying capacity are Resource environment drive path,Economic society drive path and Policy talent drive path.In addition,the economic location,the talented person,the environment and the infrastructure have the certain influence to carrying capacity of the urban.The measures to improve the economic carrying capacity of the urban are optimize resource utilization and environment protection,developing traffic industry,encourage outside capital to enter the urban economy,and actively integrate into the national economic and regional development strategy and so on.
