Analysis On The Role Of Inspection Service In The Quality Competitiveness Of Manufacturing Industry

Achieving the transition from national speed to national quality is an important issue China's economy faces under the new normal.At present,the manufacturing industry in our country is huge but not strong.How to effectively improve the quality competitiveness of the manufacturing industry in our country is an urgent issue nowadays.Numerous studies show that the development of producer services can provide new opportunities for the enhancement of manufacturing competitiveness.As a typical productive high-tech service industry,inspection service can provide a significant technical support and guarantee for the construction of a powerful nation with strong quality.To promote development by standards is an important way to improve quality and efficiency of Chinese manufacturing industry.Mechanism analysis is firstly made on how inspection service improves the quality competitiveness of manufacturing industry.Then,this article explores the status quo and characteristics of the inspection service and manufacturing quality competitiveness in China,establishing the realistic basis for the theme of this article.Subsequently,this paper uses the DEA model to measure the contribution degree of the inspection service industry to the quality competitiveness of manufacturing industry in 2005-2015.The empirical result shows that the inspection service industry does not fully exert its influence on the quality competitiveness of China's manufacturing industry.Although the high technical elements in the inspection service should be recognized,the problems of decentralization and weak market vitality have resulted in the low efficiency of resource deployment,which seriously hampers its impact on enhancing the quality level of China's manufacturing industry.From the inspection level,the resource utilization and technical efficiency should be both considered to enhance the quality competitiveness of manufacturing industry.Based on the above conclusions,this paper gives five pieces of policy recommendation:promote the resource integration of inspection institutions,speed up the marketing process of state-owned inspection institutions,enhance the specialized ability of inspection institutions,strengthen the training of inspection institutional personnel and encourage the inspectio n institution to expand their business area.
