Abstract/Summary:
Farmers in C hina's contiguous poverty-stricken areas are constrained by factors such as geographic environment and historical development.Farmers have a high incidence of poverty and poverty alleviation is very difficult.Under the guidance of the Central Party's accurate poverty alleviation ideas, how to support poverty through policy support, financial allocation, and social assistance? In addition to the measures,we will formulate financial poverty alleviation policies that are consistent with the actual conditions of rural households in the special hardship areas in combination with the actual development status of formal credit departments and informal credit departments in rural credit markets in contiguous destitute areas, and the main uses of loans to farmers in special hardship areas to help farmers achieve It is very important to get rid of poverty and become rich. This paper sorts out and summarizes the literature on rural household credit, the relationship between formal credit departments and the informal credit sector, and on the basis of previous people, theoretically discusses the relationship between the formal credit sector and the informal credit sector in the rural credit market.Analyze and put forward the hypothesis of this paper, and then based on the survey data of 2,318 farmers in four co ntiguous poverty-stricken areas, build a four-element Probit model and Tobit model to empirically test the formal credit department and informal credit department in the rural credit market in the destitute areas. The relationship and the main purpose of farmers' loans from two sectors. The study found that:(1)There is a complementary relationship between the formal credit sector and the informal credit sector in the rural credit market of contiguous destitute areas. For households with higher household income, more operating assets,or household head owners with village cadres The complementary relationship between the formal credit sector and the informal credit sector is particularly significant.(2)The complementary relationship between the formal credit sector and the informal credit sector in contiguous destitute areas is mainly reflected in the use of loans by rural households.Specifically, the loans obtained by farmers from the formal credit sector are mainly used for productive investment, from informal credit. The loans obtained by the department are mainly used for consumer expenditures. This conclusion verifies that in the rural areas where economic and social development is very backward, the loans the farmers have obtained from different credit departments have theoretical assumptions for different purposes. On this basis, the relationship between the formal credit sector and the informal credit sector in the rural credit market in the destitute area represented by the four contiguous destitute areas was clarified, and the main use of the loans obtained by the farmers from the two sectors was determined. The relevant research on participating subjects in the rural credit market in the destitute areas has been supplemented.According to the research conclusions of this paper, combined with the specific conditions of contiguous destitute areas, this paper proposes policy suggestions on promoting poverty alleviation in contiguous destitute areas from credit departments, government departments, and farmers.
