Economic Effect Of Tourism In Wulong

The economic effect of tourism is not only significant to the development of tourism industry,but also to the development of regional economy.It reflects the effect of tourism on the regional economy.Making a study on the economic effect of tourism will help researchers correctly realize the role of tourism on regional economic development,as well as the industrial status of tourism industry.As a pillar industry of Wulong,the development of tourism industry plays an important role in solving the problems of poverty and conflicts between human and land among local residents.The issue how to realize the status of tourism industry correctly in the economic development of Wulong,give full play to the industrial advantages of tourism industry,promote positive interaction between tourism industry and economic development,and coordinate also optimize the regional industrial structure have been an urgent task which scholars need to study.This thesis is based on the research perspective of the interaction between county tourism industry and the development of regional economy,meanwhile on the basis of qualitative analysis of the current situation of tourism industry and economic development in Wulong,uses the time series data from 2005 to 2016,finally analyzes the income,employment and industry linkage effects of Wulong tourism industry by using econometric model.And put forward the suggestions for further improvements on the economic effect of tourism by analysis results.The above in order to correctly positioning the industrial status of Wulong tourism industry,thus provides a decision-making basis for the coordinated development of tourism and economy.Research indicates: First,Wulong tourism has an obvious income effect.There is a long-term stability cointegration relation between tourism industry and the growth of regional economy.Each 1% increase of total tourism revenue will drive the economy to increase 0.4465% move together,which is greater than the impact of tourism industry development on economic growth in the short-term.According to Granger causality test,the development of tourism industry is only the Granger cause to the development of economy.Economic growth has a weaker driving effect on the development of tourism than that of tourism development on economic growth.Second,the employment effect of Wulong tourism industry has yet to be improved.In the long term,each 1% increase of total tourism revenue will drive the employment in the tertiary industry to increase 0.0295% move together.The Granger causality test further shows that the development of Wulong tourism industry gives a number of promotion effect on the employment of the tertiary industry,but the promotion effect is not significant.Third,the development of tourism industry and related industries is not coordinated.The comprehensive correlation effect of Wulong tourism industry has yet to be improved,and there is a gap between tourism industry and other industries.
