Research On Risk Prevention Of Overseas Infrastructure BOT Projects In Chinese Enterprises

Along with the promotion of China's "going out" and "The Belt and Road" policy,and the overseas competition ability of Chinese enterprises to further strengthen the infrastructure projects,the number of contracted projects gradually increased year by year.More and more enterprises can do BOT project construction,the type of project contracted is also change from the previous EPC mode to the BOT project which includes both financing and late operation.The use of BOT mode has gradually become the core of enterprise comprehensive ability.However,the overseas infrastructure BOT project needs the enterprise change from just the contractor only responsible for the design and construction to the present investor,contractor and operator,at the same time during the operation of the project is longer,and the international situation is complicated and changeable,so the overseas infrastructure BOT project there is a huge risk.So,it is important for us to identify and assessment risk and put forward the corresponding measures.To better solve the problem of financing risk in overseas BOT project,this paper analyzes and summarizes the risk characteristics of overseas BOT projects relative to domestic BOT projects and other overseas projects.According to the risk management theory,the risk management process of overseas BOT projects is established in accordance with the order of risk identification,risk assessment and risk strategy.According to the risk prevention process,we classify and analyze several cases.According to the risk characteristics of overseas BOT project,this paper focuses on the analysis of political risk,economic risk and operational risk.Identify and analyze the risk reasons in the case,then we quantify the risk in the case through quantitative analysis of risk matrix,and finally put forward the corresponding countermeasures;The paper summarized the risk list of overseas BOT project,and design corresponding overseas BOT project risk management plan to provide an effective theoretical reference for Chinese enterprises to enter the overseas market.Finally,the article puts forward the corresponding suggestions for the future overseas BOT infrastructure projects from two aspects of the policy and the enterprise itself.
