The intensive market competition brought about by the reform on the sales side and the marketization of electricity supply has forced the power enterprise to innovate in order to maintain their competitive advantage.As a part of the supply chain management of power enterprises,the logistics management of electric metering device is of great significance to the enterprise's development due to its close connection with customers.But the complexity of logistics management process has caused significant obstacles to related innovations.There is few similar theoretical research or relevant empirical study on the characteristics and mechanism of the innovation diffusion of logistics management in enterprises with complex internal processes.Innovation practice lacks targeted theoretical guidance.Identifying the influencing factors of the innovation diffusion of logistics management and internal logical relationship among them will be conducive to promote the innovation reform of these complicated enterprises.In this paper we take TJ Power Grid as a research case,and use a normative method of confirmatory case study to deeply analyze the digital transformation process of the metering device logistics management in such an electric power enterprise.This paper first reviews relevant theories,and then proposes a diffusion theory model under the logistics management innovation situation based on the innovation diffusion theory.Combining the research questions,we analyze and demonstrate the various data obtained to verify the proposed theoretical model,and finally revise the theoretical model according to the results of the case validation analysis.Finally,the questionnaire survey was used to verify the revised part of the model.Compared with the classic innovation diffusion model,we find that the logistics management innovation provider characteristics partially mediate the relationship between logistics management innovation characteristic and logistics management innovation adoption in a power company with a more complex logistics management process and organization structure.Complex knowledge is easily distorted in longer management processes.Therefore,the innovation adopter's position is closer to the upstream of the logistics management process,the perception of external market competition is weaker.In this way,the management support completely mediates the relationship between the marketing competition and logistics management innovation adoption.Based on the the logistics management innovation diffusion revised model of electric metering device of power companies,this article summarizes some suggestions that can help promote the successful diffusion of innovation in the company.It can provide theoretical guidance for related companies to conduct logistics management or similar process innovation.
